Well done Bjarne

I thought it was a super GP, and not just because the Pirate boys did us proud.

At first i thought the track was too slick and it would be a poor meeting, but as th heats progressed the racing just got better and better. The batle between Walasek and Crump, and Walesek and Bjarne was top notch stuff. Add to the the ride TRick had with Walasek before he came to grief and it was well up there with the great GP's.

The added glee of seeing Crump flunk out was cool, and Adams doing his usual display made me open a bottle of bubbly to celebrate tonight.

With Messrs Ford and Golding over in Poland talking to prosective future pirates, the future is looking good. :DB);)

Good to see a new face on top of the rostrum and also pleasing to see Jarek Hampel have another brilliant GP, it's surely only a matter of time now before he gets to the top step. This years title race looks like it could be fun with a few rider up there now and a few other riders who you can never count out.

very good point there daf but we have him now :D what a purchase he has proved to be!!!

He still officially a Newcastle asset until a certain installments have been been paid :D:D (I think it's after the third one that he becomes a Poole asset). I think we should just keep him though ;);).

who's the best rider in the world at the moment= BJARNE PEDERSEN :approve:

Not exactly true, due to the fact that FORMER Pirate Rickardsson currently leads the field.

But I wouldn't expect you to acknowledge that as he no longer rides for Poole.

Fickle or what.

Full credit to Bjarne Pedersen on his win, just a pity he has to ride for such an arrogant club as Poole.

Is it because pirates traditionally wear eye patches over one eye that Poole supporters are the way they are ?

what a load of cr*p.

I was cheering TRick on all the way as well as Bjarne. Most Poole fans want TRick to regain his crown. Well pleased with Bjarne's win which was great as he was in some tremendous battles with Walasek and Gollob.

Perfect night for Poole fans. A current Poole rider winning it and Tony back on top of the pile.

BRING ON CARDIFF!!

TRick to stretch away into the distance from now on.

Woooo Bjarne! Well done him! Hes one of my favourite riders but i barely even noticed he was riding so well last night! He kinda got along with the job quietly and popped up at the end with a FANTASTIC gate in the final!

Unless im mistaken both Bjarne+Jarek are within 10 points of the top 3 on the leader board!! Another couple of great performances and they could both be right up there throwing a spanner in the World Championship works! :D

Well done Bjarne - look forward to Wednesday for your homecoming, also well done Tony battling away for the third place to take the lead overall (even if only by one point!), great gp.
Congrats to Bjarne, Jarek and Trick.
Well done Bjarne and Jarek...the young guns are taking over!

You know what? I think a fair few of you have missed something...

Heat 25 b pedersen, hampel, rickardsson, protasiewicz

There was a fourth rider that probably deserves congrations, he's certainly not one of the riders you would tip for making the final, but he did, so surely he deserves congratulations also!

WELL DONE PEPE!
