Rob B
I was one of the unlucky ones to be in Gothenburg last year for the cock up with the track, I'm definatly not risking it this year.
woody-the-bee
what were prices like over there, just the essentials... beer and food.
garf
what were prices like over there, just the essentials... beer and food. Even compared to the Danish prices the beer is very expensive. The food is cheaper than in Denmark, so . . . . . . But you can take a trip on the ferry to Denmark from Gothenburg and buy some of the good Danish beer like all the Swedes are doing. Jez
Went to Gothenburg with the better half in January for a weekend and to say its costlt is an under statement. In the bars we went in it was about £2.50 - £4 for ½ a pint , not really the place to have a few sherbets before going to the meeting. The food prices weren't that bad, it cost us between £50-£60 for a three course meal for two with drinks in a couple of restaraunts we went to. Must admit though it's a nice place, wish I was going but going on my jollies instead
