TTT
I hope Danyon picks up a couple of points tomorrow night just for his drive and determination to show up and give it a go knowing full well that he's likely to not earn any money when being asked to ride as a Heat Leader.

As I pointed out, zagar signed in November. Lindgren came in mid season so not really comparing like with like.

When you have little to no chance of winning the meeting, then the thought process is probably why waste money on a heatleader when you can save money and bring in a reserve instead. Not great for the supporters granted, but if Money is an issue (and it’s likely considering the pre-season statements) then it makes sense from a Birmingham point of view. It does beg the question though how Birmingham managed to make Rew a “substantial” offer that Chris Louis couldn’t/wouldn’t match.

TBF Danyon knows his way around Foxhall and has scored double figures on occasions, taking some huge scalps along the way. He’s beaten a few top number one’s at Foxhall in recent years.

Apparently Brum can have a guest up to 75% of Zagar's average, so they've got 5.40 available: Blödorn, Howarth, Kemp, or an RS, or someone from the Championship with a qualifying converted average - if any of them are interested and/or available. I'm guessing Hume will have asked for a guarantee, with a bonus if he stays on ... I mean, scores a point or two.

The reason why Visas are required is purely down to Brexit. Riders from EU countries used to be able to turn up and ride because they had a right to earn a living in a fellow EU member country. Now the UK treats them the same as riders from any other country, which means the appropriate Visa for their type of employment. It could be there's a long lead time for them to be approved, or it could be that Brum didn't apply in a timely manner.

Brum though not capable of winning the meeting will hit above the 30 threshold, 58-32 I'll go for Tbf Tobi normally loves it round Foxhall and Rew will be good value so Birmingham should at least get into the 30's i'd of thought, if 1 or 2 of the others chip in with a few points. Adam travels on his French passport and was refused entry once as he’d passed the 90 days in 180 rule…… luckily he also had his uk passport with him too and was waved through after the original confusion.

Being honest Danyon is the better option from all of those, given Zagars effort at Owlerton the other week too - he gated in one ride and stayed out to win (just) but that was largely it. THE DEAN MACHINE
Surely the best and arguably the cheapest option if money is the case would be RR ?

Possibly hes never particuarly impressed me with his riding at Foxhall but looking back he seems to get 5's etc - if the Danyon we know and have seen (too rarely perhaps) shows up then we know he could get a few points.
