Glasgow v Berwick BSN cup 18/4/25@19.30

Could be an Easter spectacular weekend against the Bandits with part one tomorrow night at Ashfield .

This is the strongest looking Berwick side for many seasons with two ex GP riders spearheading them , assuming Kildemand is fit of course . They are backed up by a strong middle order and a promising reserve in Sam Hagon .

We will have to improve a lot from last Friday to get the better of Berwick tomorrow night , should be a cracker of a meeting though

Our  season has barely started and already we've got fixture problems following this cancellation. We've got a blank Friday on May 2 but Berwick are at Edinburgh that night. May 30 is reserved for the KO Cup - at home if v Workington; away if against Edinburgh. If the latter we have two meeting Berwick (BSN) and Edinburgh (KO Cup) to arrange in June - and no blank dates! Trouble ahead.

Don't know how they manage with 19 Team League, KO Cup and 4-Team Tournament 🤔

With so few fixtures it should be very easy to rearrange matches. But with 4 Friday clubs who don't want to race on an off race night, suddenly not so simple.

I would prioritise the BSN matches, as that is supposed to be an early season competition. Race Berwick on 30th May.

Main problem will be rider availability (as usual).

That's the date reserved for the KO Cup. Would be riding at Armadale if Edinburgh beat Workington. This meeting is also off and possibly will be rearranged for May 23 when the Comets were due at Armadale in the league. Looks like both BSN and KO Cup competitions are likely to be delayed. Irony is that May 2 is unused.
