Buster wouldn’t get away with his delay tactics on his tractor to get bomber more time in Poland and he shouldn’t be allowed to get away with it here, it’s the little things

Weak refereeing from Christina Pitbull... interval should be after heat 11 and there's a maximum time written in the rules between races.

"Except when the Referee considers that there are valid reasons for delaying the start of an ensuing heat, the interval between the finish of one heat and the start of the next shall not exceed 4 minutes including the 2 minute allowance"

I wonder what the reason was that the ref considered valid?

Decided to buy the BSN stream for this one and I'm glad I did. Probably one of the better meetings I've seen at King's Lynn.

Chris Harris is just fantastic isn't he? It will be a crying shame when the time comes for him to hang up his kevlars. King's Lynn will be sad to see him out of the no.6 berth. A total gent and great racer to the end.

The result went the way many of us expected. Lynn might argue that the margin should have been greater, but that’s down to their rider’s errors, which is not bad luck. I still think that a decent (8 point plus) second heat leader is required for the Lions to make the play offs. Points from reserve continue to be a problem. We can’t read anything into Hagon’s 3 paid 6 return as all his points were from races where only three riders finished. Kemp will have better nights but what Hagon does to justify his chance at this level is beyond me. I would expect Dickson will be looking imminently for a replacement. Who’s better? Don’t know, but who’s worse and doesn’t deserve a chance?

We should have won that far more comfortably, Leicester are a pretty ordinary side and we threw so many points away yet again. Fingers crossed Ben Cook is ok, he looked a much better rider tonight after his first race EF.

Track was a bit funky to begin with but once it settled down I thought there was some decent action.

Who’s better?

Dan Gilkes imo, I hope he proves me wrong but I've not really seen anything from Sam Hagon, besides his U21 win, for me to rate him. He's got the name but the Hagon name is more famous for Speedway sponsorship than it is for Speedway pedigree, although Martin was quite decent on the Grass and Long tracks I believe.

Cook can't seem to catch a break in the UK at the moment (though maybe his wrist)

Your boys were caught out by the track early on, not sure why it was prepared like that, if it was for Bomber, again I'm not sure why as he was riding it as good at the end of the meeting as he was at the start.

Backing off in close contact again..

Someone needs to have a word with him. This is speedway and there is always going to be close or very close contact.Undoubtedly he can be fast, but he needs to be a couple of yards in front to get points. He spooked himself tonight when he nearly binned it (ht2) and basically stopped. Then when Lawson went by he was spooked again.I hope he can sort this side of him out because there is potential there for all to see.

He’s usually a double figure rider at the Aston Flux Arena though, has been for 3-4 years now

I think he proved he was a good number two at Leicester last season, but it's asking a lot of him to be No 5 imo. Especially with the way the team has been built. Him and Klint should swap imo.

It will always be a problem with "strength in depth" teams... one pairing will always be a liability which the others can't compensate for.  Most 6-7 pointers don't score 6-7 points every meeting, one meeting they score 10, next they score 3.  Who is looking like they're going to reserve instead of Harris in May and who is going to overtake Cook for the #1 spot?

Nor me, it was all a bit odd really.

Just glad we got over the line. Something to build on.

Win for KL but at what cost?

Leszno are fighting to get back to the top flight of Polish Speedway and they'll be furious tonight to a point where they could flex their muscles.

That was my initial thought too....

I hope Ben isnt on one of those contracts that will cost him money if he gets injured riding in another league.....

Looks like Harris will go to No. 1 and Klindt to No. 6.

As much as I hope Ben is ok and obviously wish him a speedy recovery, it could be a blessing in disguise for Lynn if they can now bring in a genuine No. 1 to replace Cook and bring in a 5 pointer at reserve.

1. 8.00 assessed rider (replacing Cook)

2. Lawson - 6.74

3. Iversen - 6.64

4. Klindt - 6.13

5. Harris - 6.87

6. 5.00 assessed rider (replacing Kvech)

7. Boughen - RS

Total - 39.38

Good win for Lynn that was. 8 points down and home riders throwing points away whilst in good positions, they could have easily let their heads drop but they dug in and fought back well. Important result.

it was an odd match

lynn really should have won at a canter but at the same time leicester ought to have taken advantage of the situation and will be kicking themselves for not doing so

There are no other riders in world speedway who would average 8:00 that are remotely interested in riding in the UK.

Don't forget Sheffield need to find a top end rider also.....
