Daniel Smith
I think it's absolute madness to pair Cook & Klindt together. For me, Iversen has been reasonably decent, not to have him at No2 or No5 is crazy management. Just my opinion 🤷

And while you’re right it won’t be completely decisive, it’s the fact it’s at home to the one club they’re really competing with for a play off spot that makes this one really important. They’ll be playing catch up already if they lose this one. They could both get similar results against the others in the league be it defeats against the top three or victories against the bottom two, so results (and aggregate bonus) between the two of them could be crucial. GeneralMelchett
I think a slender away win for this, the league needs KL to win however otherwise i think the top 4 will be decided already.

Bagpuss
It is a very important meeting but we do have three more meetings against Leicester so all wouldn't be lost. However we've seen in recent seasons how difficult it is to play catch up if you make a really bad start.

Totally agree, massive match for Lynn here. Big match for Leicester too, but an away loss isn't so harmful for their top 4 bid.

Even at this very early stage of the season Birmingham and Oxford season is all but over hopefully the Stars won’t join this group - 3 of the 4 play off places are all sorted now barring injuries of course - so from now it’s all about the 4th spot between Stars and the Lions and it’s only mid April which isn’t good for the league. And you are correct it’s waiting for September plays offs

I thought Kvech would quickly be our No.1, before the season started. He might do yet though, hope he turns it around.. Klindt can be a slow starter to the season. Obviously Cook is a worry up to now, as well. I know we are only 3 meetings in, but you soon get left behind. We should beat most at home, apart from maybe Ippo and Sheffield. But will it be enough without the odd aggregate point. After the 1st 2 away meetings Bomber 5.09, Cook 4.00, Klindt 3.43, Kvech 3.00. The most worrying is Ashton who seems to be still riding like he did at the end of last season.

Ashton will be fine, he had a spill and that has affected him but he is still amongst the points.

I'm pretty sure they could turn things around at some point, but thing is they need to turn it around sooner rather than later. He has not started well but I think he will come good at a track that should suit him.

Klindt started last season slowly too so I would not be worried about him and we all know bomber will be fine, Kvech may be a concern but tonight you may see an upturn, hope you do, the premiership needs someone to challenge the top 4. PhilTheAce
cant believe the question marks on cook, whoever is at no1 in this team will struggle, thats the making of the team, once cook gets to a middle order he will be fine, then whoever moves to no1 will start to struggle. you are basing cooks performances from no1 against belle vue and sheffield, both of who are top heavy so even the teams with good no1s will struggle to score good points.

The only one i'm really worried about at home is Ben Cook tbh. Hopefully he goes well tonight.. Agreed, but... he's been undercooked (pun intended) so far by any standards. Maybe you wouldn't be expecting him to beat other teams number 1's but he should have the beating of 2 of the other riders in the race (maybe not in 13). His stats don't make for good reading http://www.gbspeedway.com/2025/riderperf.php?mc1=s&mc2=r&mc3=av&mc4=x&rider=Benjamin Cook&league=A&sort=date&comp=All&club=Overall He's not that bad a rider. At a minimum Cook should be beating the opposing number 2 and 4, which he isnt doing.
