It said on the updates that the first race was Cooper Rushen’s first competitive race on a 500cc bike.  What a debut, 3 wins plus a paid win and a third.  Oh, forgot to mention, a new track record as well.  One to watch.

That’s what was announced, so I had to mention it.

Im going to stick my neck out and say that he'll end up being better than Cairns all things being equal.

He’s going to be a star this boy. He has box office entertainer written all over him. Heard a whisper that a premiership club have already agreed terms with his family to sign up as a club asset on his 16th birthday. Been doing plenty of laps there already.

Just looked back in. With Kent tracking 3 x 3 pointers doesn't the rider with most experience (Jamie Etherington) have to start in the side rather than the rookie Nathan Hargrave?

Strong debut by Rushen as expected but better than Cairns chatter is a little strong based upon one meeting. Whatever way these two clearly have a prospect of a bright future.

why would that be? if you have 3, 3 pointers, its always better to start your best 3 pointer at reserve as they can have more rides.

Certainly not based on one meeting and I could be completely wrong but we will see.

As for who Cooper signs for in a year or so  I expect every club will have a conversation with him and his family and he has plenty of time to decide his future.

Depends if the club wants to focus on development or winning. If it's development, put the strongest rider in the top 5, let him learn by racing tougher riders & allow the weaker 3.00 riders more races against the opposition reserves by riding at 6 & 7.

If they want to win the league / trophy, put the strongest at reserve & give him extra rides.
