Can only see a home win personally, although a lot depends which Cameron Heeps turns up. A few of the Oxford riders (Masters, Knudsen, Jenkins and Killeen) have already ridden the track this season, which should help. Looking forward to seeing Mitch McDiarmid - arrives with enormous potential, so let's see what he's capable of.

Reading the comments from the Scunny fans on the Speedway updates, they've given up for the season already!

Its going to be a short season. We should have had more of a clear out , but Rob is to loyal to his rider friends. We lack at least one more heat leader, probably two.

Bit of an over the top reaction in my opinion. Yeah the side probably won’t win the league but let’s judge the side once we’ve have a few home meetings under our belts. For the majority of the team it was there first meeting of the year last night!

Indeed, wait to see what they can do at home first before losing all hope lol!

Is that not better than starting with the League? Unless you start with challenge matches, then we run out of dates at the end of season. :)

The amount of free dates available these days surely some kind of challenge could organised. To be honest I couldn’t really care these days, just go along and watch some matches hoping for a good meeting. Its all a bit of shambles IMO.
