In Leicester preview Stewart Dickson says track is different and riders need to learn new lines.

What been done to track this time?

Some of the cambers/banking has been changed, best Speedway I've seen around BP vs Brum... let's hope that wasn't a flash in the pan 🤞

Sounds identical to what we’ve done at Ipswich over the winter. Not sure if that’s a good thing or a bad thing from an Ipswich perspective! We go there next week and it’s a track we go very well on. All the riders seem to score heavily there so it’ll be interesting to see if that changes things.

Glad you have a live stream, will be tuning in and looking forward to seeing if the racing has improved due to the changes.

I’d earmarked Leicester as one I was confident of winning at. Emil, Doyle, Brennan and Dan all fly around there usually. Wonder if this has put a spoke in the pigeon..

Lions should win by about 10

Hope you're right, but can't see it. For the Lions to win, Fricke has to get the better of both Kurtz & Bewley. If its close going  into the last three heats, The Aces top end fire power is likely to see them through. (Ditto these comments for the visit of the Witches next week as well). The performance of Kemp will also be key as it is highly likely that he will need to have five rides as I'm expecting the usual return from our number seven.

Depends on the form of Fricke & Lidsey for me, I've seen the Aces at Beaumont Park when neither Bewley not Kurtz could get near Fricke but Bewley was unbeaten in the playoff final.  You'd expect the Aces top two to have the edge over the rest of the Lions septet but if Lidsey doesn't chip in with a few wins I can't see Aces keeping it close enough in the first 12 heats to have a chance at the end.  Blodorn could be a bit of trump card, I think he's said previously that Beaumont Park is his favourite away track.  Don't expect much from Aces reserves, has Zischke ever ridden at Leicester before?

Blimey car park gets full quick.  Hardly any spaces left at 6:15.  Second time I've needed petrol when getting here, second time I've driven the wrong way down a one way system to get to the Tesco petrol station.  The people of Leicester pay 6 p more a little than the people of Cannock for petrol.  Or is Tesco usually that much more expensive than Sainsburys for petrol?

The start marshall is the same chap as he guy who used to do it at the EoESg?

Just had heat 11 and racing is awful. Only 2 ‘passes’ because the riders in front went far too wide and gifted it.

More dirt on M1 then inside half of track, anyone who goes looking for bit of dirt on outside goes backwards.

Track prep was poor again tonight, far too dry, not enough moisture in the track. With a track like ours it needs to be prepared perfectly as it can't rely on it's shape alone.
