This looks like entertainment....:D

It will keep packing them in I am sure....

Ipswich have long had a regular decent crowd and the chance to see Doyle and Emil week in week out has certainly brought some extra punters in, and as in any sport a winning team will always draw in a better crowd than a losing team, at the end of the day you can only beat what's put in front of you as the saying goes, Ipswich handing out a mauling at home is no different to Belle Vue or Sheffield hammering teams at home on a regular basis.

Tungate has had a shocking start to the season he looks dreadful. Janowski disappointing also.

Tungate was really poor last night, I was particularly surprised at the meek effort from Tungate/sedgemen in heat 11, the experience of those two guys and around Ipswich to simply leave half the track to Dan Thompson just ride a planned cut back from gate 4 with no challenge and piss off down the back straight being 15 yards ahead going into the 3rd bend was embarrassing, kudos to Dan was a great first bend etc but them boys should be embarrassed tbh.

gusts, wright had a go, magic did look like he was trying too tbf but he’s not the same rider atm, Killeen out of his depth, Sedgmen and Tungate looked like they were going through the motions tbh

This match sums up the problem in British Speedway.

One team has Emil and Doyle, the other team has Tungate and Janowski.

I would love to know if Ipswich fans found tonight's meeting interesting.

If only Oxford could sign someone🤔someone like... 🤔, ooh I don't know let me think 🤔, erm Grigory Laguta! No, not him, the other one... what's his name 🤔

To be honest Gregory Laguta  would be a better signing, he is a bit of a nutter and not afraid to ruffle a few feathers

How this forum shows the bitterness of other teams is hilarious 😆 Ipswich built to the limit of points. We would have walked it last year as well and even other team managers admit that. Crowds are brilliant. Atmosphere outstanding. Last year the track was “awful” and now it’s a fair playing field with a better track we win by bigger margins! Lastly, people stop saying it’s gate and go. Ellis done a stunning outside overtake and Thompson done the best cut back from last to second on the first bend. It’s painful I know… but just admit teams aren’t up to it at foxhall. Oh sorry we’ve beaten everyone away as well :D

Problem is, Ipswich are the only club able to afford a GP exiled Russian. It’s been tried by others without that financial clout but didn’t last.
Very gate ‘n’ go again. Once the jostling for position from the gate and around turns one & two were out of the way there was little of interest. I didn’t think it possible but they seem to have made it more gate ‘n’ go than before, must be their preference and I’m glad the witches fans get to watch it.

Didn't go last night but saw it was another whopping.  This fayre is clearly appealing to many fans, I'd rather there was some tension with the results but will be there for the playoff meetings if they stay injury free.

It is amusing seeing fans behaving so bitter towards Ippo this season.

I have no link to them but I hope they win the league at a canter this season then the playoffs. It does remind me somewhat of when Poole used to waltz to the title and the other clubs would all be bitter about it.

With Gavan being an Ippo fan and never getting along with him on this forum I can't believe I am writing it but he seems to of calmed down in recent years so don't mind saying it.

Track work has made a big improvement to the 3&4th bend - utilised superbly last night by several witches riders and gusts & wright.

you can slag the racing off all you want but end of the day we can only beat what turns up to race against us and Oxford were woefully far off us last night.

Next home meeting is brummies and muesli usually decent around Foxhall and rew is obviously good here and of course will want to take some scalps at his old track so hopefully next home meeting we get to see a bit more of fight than we did last night or two weeks ago when belle vue turned in the worst performance I’ve seen from an away team since 1998

I mentioned this a few years back and it was taken as a swipe at the updates site when it wasn’t. Why don’t they detail the racing on 3 & 4. Almost all heats read, FTG or a pass on bend 2 lap 1. It does a disservice to the improved track if the exciting bits are being brushed over. I travel the country and on more than one occasion I’ve looked at the description of the racing at nearby tracks and made the decision not to attend. Though it doesn’t get the readership of the updates site, it might be helpful if a fan could give the alternative view of the racing on here.

Oxford are a terrible team and will get hammered by many teams, maybe they will improve as the season progresses but it will take a few  changes.

Why is Charles wright such a 🔔 🔚 btw?

no idea why he got so angry with Ellis, he was the one that Ellis right to the fence, thought it was a good race and then after he has to go and throw his weight around 🤷‍♂️

I assume Ellis was supposed to roll the throttle off and wave him through maybe? 🤣

Maybe Ellis shouldn't elbow other riders on the start-line.  Comedy booing from the Ippo fans without realising what was going on, which backfired when Wright flew out and won Heat 14.

Sorry, I am not a fan, how dare you!!

I can assure you that I report every pass irrespective of where it happens on the track even when there are many of them (see heat 8 last week).

it takes a lot to annoy me, but you have managed to achieve it.
