LagutaRacingFan
This match sums up the problem in British Speedway. One team has Emil and Doyle, the other team has Tungate and Janowski. I would love to know if Ipswich fans found tonight's meeting interesting. If no one in the opposition team can beat Danny king on the night then Emil and Doyle are irrelevant
89buttons
Why is Charles wright such a 🔔 🔚 btw? no idea why he got so angry with Ellis, he was the one that Ellis right to the fence, thought it was a good race and then after he has to go and throw his weight around 🤷♂️ I assume Ellis was supposed to roll the throttle off and wave him through maybe? 🤣

It's a pity that all the other teams aren't allowed to strengthen to try and match them a little more.

One thing is for certain the turnstiles are clicking, the opening two meetings have been staged in front of very healthy crowds!

It will indeed Mike. Another very healthy crowd as I’m sure it will be again in two weeks time.

The two home meetings have both been in front of bumper crowds & the atmosphere particularly tonight has been superb. So yes we are enjoying it & so far seems to be attracting a fair number of non regulars. Tonight’s crowd was up on Belle Vue.

A successful team which thumps teams at home will always attract more supporters than turn them away. That’s the case with ANY sport actually.

Him and Courtney are out of their depth. Oxford need to be careful as Schroeck will kill off any feel good factor with his teams. Look at the shambles with the Cheetahs and the young Aussie having no visa/permit Edited Thursday at 10:45 PM by Chris
Gavan
3 hours ago, mikebv said: This looks like entertainment.... It will keep packing them in I am sure.... Oh it will Thing is Ipswich have had some mediocre years at the top level with average riders like Miskowiak and Swiderski as heat leaders and dropping down a league and still not winning anything …. But even through the bad times the crowd was healthy .. yes frustrations were vented but the crowds were always very good … Ipswich is a well supported club win or lose and however good the racing is …. The fact that we now have a very good side … one which fans of other clubs have trouble with basic maths … means that the crowds will always be big

Ipswich built the team that every other team in the Premier League would have dreamed of with all the team consistently contributing to the scoring Every other team assembled their squad with a few riders they wanted and filled the rest of the 7 with individual riders just to fit the averages left available to them They're the one team in the league I'd ever pay to watch home or away if I ever had the opportunity. 1
