But that’s the issue with Kings Lynn for me. There’s been nothing to suggest they should be any different. Lawson maybe but he’s getting long in the tooth so expecting him not to regress is probably unfair. Lynn are packed with so so riders there’s very little sparkle there or a rider or two you hope is going to suddenly blossom in to a top line rider. It’s all a bit meh for me.

should be Kvech in theory, but he hasnt reached the heights of last year just yet but i guess its early days. He scored 9 from 7 with two retirements last season at owlerton.

The issue with Lynn is as soon as they go away and the track is grippy, no one wants to know. They’re all gaters (minus Harris) and if they don’t hit bend 1 in front then it’s curtains and all very precessional from there. They should in theory (minus the loss already to BV and Ipswich probably) win every home meeting, but apart from Oxford and Birmingham lose heavily away and struggle to pick up enough aggregate points to see them into the playoffs.

The only realistic change is Lambert, but that would require 2 changes having to be made, and who is out there on a 5-point average that would want to come in?

If lambert was interested he’d be in the team already, he won’t sign until later in the season if at all

I’m not saying he’s interested, I don’t think he is either. Just merely stating in terms of a big hitter he is realistically the only possibility

Good meeting that, I've never seen so much passing around Sheffield in a Televised/Streamed meeting.

King's Lynn just aren't clicking, Every night they seem to have a couple of riders who have a stinker.

Ben Cook looked distraught in the pits.

And that will always be the case. They’re garbage I’m afraid. All of the riders are a bit meh who are a mix of past it riders who no longer can perform on a consistent basis to riders that just aren’t good enough. There’s just no sparkle there it’s all a bit flat. They won’t make the play offs with the team they have.

King's Lynn have to show some fight tonight even if they lose, A repeat of Monday's battering and it really will be time for a couple of team changes already as it would be another heavy defeat against a team with a powerful spearhead which would tell you everything that you need to know in the long run in regards t

I don't think anyone could ever say NKI is a gater, for a few years (probably about 10-13 years ago) he was my favourite rider in the GP's because he couldn't gate!  Klindt yes, jury out on Kvech still.  Cook can race.

Another really solid home performance for Sheffield. Pickering has never looked as fast literally coasting round last lap every race to an easy win. Jack Holder provided some great entertainment in heat 10 and 15 after missing the gate, felt Klindt and Lawson rode a great line in each race but just couldn’t defend against a world class rider.

Harris as usual was 100% effort looked very good in parts, heat 9 was a great race between C Holder and Bomber. Lawson and Klindt showed some fight and speed for the away team, but Cook and Kvech were nowhere which was always going to result in a heavy loss for KL.

only weak link for Sheffield is Hume who doesn’t look comfy at all riding Owlerton. Feel for the guy he’s trying his best doing laps after the meeting but feel like he’s already on borrowed time. If we can’t find a like for like replacement for woffy can see a double change coming

On paper I thought they'd be a decent side but it's turned sour really quickly with various underperformers on a consistent basis.

Ben Cook has been a disaster signing which is a big surprise considering he's a rider that's improved year on year.

Jan Kvech has gone backwards which is another surprise as you'd think he'd improve after getting a good look at all of the top flight British tracks.

Captain Nicolai Klindt isn't riding to his average at all.

You do realise we're not even into the second week of April yet? Lol
