Belle Vue will win as their top three should in theory be dominant here. Belle Vue have an issue at reserve however, one of the weakest pairings in the League so for that reason it should be competitive. Tate has started the season poorly and you have to wonder how much that crash has/is affecting him. Plenty of time to get some form back though but his early showings must be a slight concern.

I thought he looked better towards the end of the clrc yesterday. I think he has been having machinery issues.

his frame snapped in half yesterday, so assume its had some kind of hairline crack going unnoticed thats been affecting him, soon as he jumped on his spare yesterday albeit only 1 race, he looked very competitive and won that race easily

i was under the impression that if a rider pulls out with an injury sustained in a previous meeting then they cant be replaced unless theyve had three rides

My first instinct was "yeah that's right" but Boughen pulled out after 2 rides for Glasgow & was replaced by a reserve on his other two.

I Expect Aces to win by around 8 to 12 points, We will get stronger as the season goes on, Z.Cook will get better at home with each meeting, and it was always going to take Tate time to settle in after the big injury last year.  We should be simply to strong at the top for Lynn.

Quite true,  his first bike was also reported to be down on power.

a half fit Boughen riding is better for Lynn Lyon knows that he is very astute manager he can use Harris for 2 of his rides especially in heat 8 with Lawson ? Lawson usually struggles at NSS never seen him have a decent meeting there yet ? NKI rides well here klindt is on good form from weekend he as had some decent meetings here in the past Harris will have 6 possibly 7 rides but this is his 3rd meeting in 3 days Lynn have Been tough opposition in recent years so could be a close one Aces could well be stronger in final heats which could well decide it 🤔😜♣️🏆

Definitely. Having watched both the pairs and CLRC on the weekend, I can confirm tates bike was very slow. He was losing yards on the straights and the lack of pace entering the bends was obviously affecting how he takes them.

He flew around scunny when he used his second bike.

Heat 8 is protected and you are unable to switch reserves in this heat

Every year a team opts for strength in depth.

Fans talk it up...

Reality sets in when the season starts.

But.But.But...

Peterborough...?

But that was in a league with a lot less GP riders in it than now and they were able to bring in loads of very good guests for Ulrich due to his great early season average, which he couldn't hope to maintain..

Too many top riders are over here now, who race in lots of the fifteen heats, and can swing a match by 8 points in Ht 13 and 15..

The year Peterborough won it was a season of mainly 2nd division heat leaders doubling up...
