Vinnie Foord? I like that rule tbh, gives the next batch of "rising stars" a chance to prove their worth. Nathan Ablitt, Joe Thompson, Luke Harrison, Vinnie Foord, Ben Trigger all have a Champ ave above 3.00. Plus Freddie Hodder as he will be used to the track.
szkocjasid
While Ben Cook hasn't made a good start riding at number one, the NSS should be a track he can perform well on. Obviously racing against Bewley & Kurtz will make it hard to pick up a big score. If Cook beats everyone bar the Aces top 2, he could score 9 (5)

foreverblue
Kings Lynn have the better reserves so should keep it close. Good news Ashton is riding as long as he is fit otherwise a big risk.

I'm not suggesting Lynn would plan that beforehand, just that Lynn are the one team who will cope with injuries better than anyone else. Even if a top 5 rider is out, wether it's r/r or IRR, having a strong reserve allows them to cover or even potentially be stronger.
SaddlebowRoad
i was under the impression that if a rider pulls out with an injury sustained in a previous meeting then they cant be replaced unless theyve had three rides

The only time I suspect he'll possibly lose to a Star is heat 4 of course he may finish behind Kurtz in heats 13 & 15. Only NKI pulling a vintage out of the locker is likely to lower his colours from the Stars septet.

I don't see Lidsey dropping many points against the Stars TBH, he surely can't be as sluggish away from the tapes as he was against Ipswich a few weeks ago. Interestingly KL have put Klindt & NKI together at 3&4, they're the two most likely riders in their team to beat one of the Aces top 3. One should have been at 2 and the other at 5 in my opinion. foreverblue
Good idea Putting Richard Lawson and Ben together as they both rode for Poole last season.
Aries
Belle Vue will win as their top three should in theory be dominant here. Belle Vue have an issue at reserve however, one of the weakest pairings in the League so for that reason it should be competitive. Tate has started the season poorly and you have to wonder how much that crash has/is affecting him. Plenty of time to get some form back though but his early showings must be a slight concern.
