Thompson was my rider of the night again, that guy is really coming on strong, having 5-1s with Emil and Doyle is great to see! He looked better and quicker on Jenkins bike than he did his own! 😂 Probably just goes to show it’s not the machine, but the rider.

If he were to chip in with just five points, his team beats the mighty Witches (who have already won the league apparently). Now I know why Oxford are predicted to be battling with Brum for the wooden spoon. I’ll ask again, who has said that? Don’t be so salty 🙄

Bloody daft playing what ifs because you can play that game both ways.

Just picking up on the general vibe on the forum. I actually think that the Witches have a superb team at this present moment (April) but so much can happen between now and September….. Satisfied?

But it always seems it’s far too dry from heat one. Maybe they can’t get on the track early due to the greyhound Someone mentioned to me that Oxford spent a lot of the afternoon practising - perhaps that was why there was not enough attention and it wasn't in decent condition

You seem very bitter for some bizarre reason. You had a sly dig on the Ipswich Belle Vue thread also. “So much can happen between now and September” Yes we know, we’ve all been saying exactly that ffs 🙄

He showed that tonight more points in 1 meeting than in a whole season with Ippo, almost half the Oxford score. As far as the Witches are concerned a win is a win & it bodes well so far 2 away wins without all firing. Pleased to see him doing well / he had a tough last season at Ipswich good start to the league campaign for the Witches anyway!

The point I was making was that your number one has to do far better than that at home. He is theoretically your best/most reliable rider. Riss scoring 20 is irrelevant because on any other night those points would be more evenly distributed across the team. To have a chance in this league an out and out No.1 is essential. Fact. If you have two 8 point plus riders, you have a chance in the play offs.

It seems that I have upset you on previous posts and it appears that you can’t let go. I’ll move on, but can’t promise that your feathers won’t be ruffled again. All of my comments are tongue in cheek and it’s quite sad that you find this so upsetting.

Must admit, he does come across very well and will hopefully become a good ambassador for British speedway for years to come.

Ipswich may lose the odd away meeting on an off night but it's a mountain to climb for any team to put up 91+ Points against them over two legs.
