Not sure I have ever seen four riders so close entering the first bend...

The rider in white, his back wheel looks like it's on the concrete gully, which may have caused massive grip for the tyre and maybe that was the start of a perfect storm?

When four riders hit the bend together as they have something has to give, Red cut across meaning 4 riders were more or less looking to ride the same line, and that is not physically possible, Red was slightly in front so missed the trouble, the other three hooked up and went into or in Tai's case under the air fence, I will ask again, why do we not put tyres behind the air fences ?, such a cheap and easy way to reduce (not prevent) injuries.

Space. Secondly, it wouldn't prevent airfences lifting.

Although still bloody hard when you hit it, I don't think you can beat the foam fence used at King's Lynn. Hardly ever moves with incidents

Marek Cieślak says that all of Woffi’s injuries happened even before he hit the fence — his body got caught between two motorcycles, and that’s what caused the damage.

That is absolute nonsense. That's just Polish Speedway 🐂💩 defending itself from potential prosecution.

What a horrible situation. I was gutted when I heard what happened.

His wife and kids - with whom he seems to share a loving life with, based on social media - must be in bits. My heart goes out to them.

After last year’s season ending elbow injury, how can someone be so unlucky? He’s achieved everything and more in the sport, so naturally, you think of retirement, but I get the impression us mere mortals will never understand the resilience and determination of a speedway rider.

All the best Tai.

Terrible to hear about this, hoping we hear something positive very soon!

Speedway the greatest sport in the world but can also be horrendous in a split second.

Thinking of Tai and all his family

Marek Cieslak is just talking nonsense to try and stay relevant in 2025.

Even the riders are refusing to take part in Sparring matches in Poland now with various postponements taking place due to the air fences after Tai's awful crash.

The air fences used in BSB and Moto GP don't lift, their bikes are heavier and faster.
