Saw some ridiculous stats yesterday. Doyle’s average at home in 2023 over 11, same last year but only three meetings ridden due to his crash. The biggest surprise for me was Ellis. 9.42 home average over all home meetings, a shade under Emil’s 9.65! Throw in King who can often be a double points scorer at Foxhall along with Brennan who also rides it very well, and nobody is getting a sniff here are they?

Ellis has always been pretty handy round Foxhall tbf, the season crump came back for us and had a go in an early season meeting he was following Ellis keeping it safe low down/mid track while Ellis was in the dirt on the fence line pulling away out front. After the race crumpy was applauding him having a chat, pointing to the fence and shaking his head, looked as if he was saying “what in the hell were you doing out there lad” 😂

Not sure about the 16/20 point win shouts myself. I think Belle Vue will be smarting after Monday and determined to show that it was just early season gremlins and that there isn’t actually much between the two sides. Not sure they realistically believe they can go through, but they’ll want a fighting performance to prove a point.

Belle vue will no doubt be up for it, at Foxhall which belle vue riders do you realistically expect to outscore their opposing number tho? Obviously on the night all sorts can happen but honestly I think Kurtz and Doyle will be fairly even and both double figures could go either way, other than that honestly expect all the other Ipswich riders to come out on top in their head to heads

Probably none if I’m being honest.

I don’t think it would be a brazen prediction for say

doyle 12

danny 8

adam 8

tom 8

Emil 11

dan 7

jordan 4

they could all struggle like the normally imperious at home belle vue lads did Monday but I don’t think it’s likely

You could say one or two of those look a bit conservative as well so it’s difficult to make a case for Belle Vue but who knows, early season and first meeting back at home can be unpredictable. Don’t think any of us predicted a win at Belle Vue on Monday let alone such a comfortable one. As I said at the start of this thread I’m always a bit reluctant to be over confident because you could end up looking daft and we all know who’d be on here after the meeting smashing the multi quote button 😁

Christ can you imagine? Yeah, don’t stuff this one up Ipswich! Any of the following meetings fine, just not this one 🙄

Possibly Kurtz to my mind - he is good if he gets out of the gate but he will have one off gate 4 ar least!

Kurtz seems to have continued his great form from the end of last season and agree that he is the main threat for BV... I wouldn't be surprised if he beats Doyle a couple of times, which is saying something at Foxhall.

Overall though expect the Witches to hit at least 50.

Tonight possibly GM because Doyle doesn’t quite look back on it yet. Otherwise I’d never back Kurtz to outscore Doyle at Foxhall. Kurtz outscored him three seasons ago but took an extra ride to do so. Since then hasn’t really got close. Would never back against Kurtz beating him here though because he’s probably the best visiting rider I’ve seen in recent years.

Yes as you say "don't stuff this one up Ippo",  i'm really looking forward to the meeting but probably won't relax until we have 41 points in the bag.  We watched the BSN stream from Belle Vue last Monday what a great result with good riding from every rider in the team, especially Dan Thompson who got rider of the night.
