Best British side we've seen since the Sky Sports Elite League days.

Will Ipswich lose a meeting this season?

Anything is possible and a good team has been assembled yet it is only two meetings nevertheless the riders do seem to work well. Good to see Danny doing a great job for the witches having had his prior performances affected by injury. It is a long way to go and hopefully the Witches can all stay injury free. It is not the time to get ahead of themselves but all looks good and fingers crossed that they can bring some glory back to Ipswich. In the meantime well done to all in the witches camp for the aggregate win and unfortunately the Aces were in the wrong place at the wrong time but they should not be written off as serious contenders for league winners, they are a very well balanced team that will come good in time and prove formidable opponents to the Witches and other teams in the league. Based on results thus far all looks good for an interesting season.

Good victory for the Witches who made good starts all night but a little boring as a spectacle. Track seemed awfully slick. I can't see them being beaten at home, nor away to be honest!

Very possible that they could go unbeaten subject to any serious rider injuries. Very early days, but I guess that will not deter a lot of the cocky Witches fans out there!

Call us cocky if you want but when you score more in one leg than the reigning champions score over both legs then really that’s some statement!

To my knowledge the season runs until September and the league hasn’t even started yet, but you are perfectly entitled to be cocky as nothing can possibly go wrong for the Witches who will undoubtably not concede a heat advantage because everting is a dead certainty over a speedway season.

You have to impressed with the Ipswich team at the start of the season.

Over the two legs all the riders are getting a decent points return.

Belle Vue must be slightly worried and you have to question are they good enough when Bewley and Kurtz have an off night, the rest of the team look very flaky.

And Belle Vue would have won last year anyway regardless of Ipswich’ injuries don’t you know!

Injuries and rule bending the only thing that’ll stop this side winning the silverware this season imo.

if you look closely we conceded a heat advantage in heat 6 of the Foxhall battering last night

It should be good for the sport overall to have a "super team" in the league ..

1998 brought great crowds when Ipswich visited so let's hope for more of the same.

A strong top 3, two good second strings who will push for the 3rd HL spot, one very good reserve, and one of the best (if not the best), rising stars...

An almost perfect scenario from a team building perspective .

Let's hope injuries don't wreck their season, as they will attract plenty of non regular fans to the other six tracks when they visit .

Edit. A good job they have a fantastic sponsor given the money they may need to pay out!!!😁
