LEICESTER: Max Fricke, Luke Becker, Ryan Douglas, Kyle Howarth, Sam Masters, Drew Kemp, Sam Hagon.
SamKM91
Could be a close one, but can see Brum nicking it at home
Arch Stanton
Comfortable home win for me.
GiveusaB
I think it was a blessing that Douglas testimonial was postponed, otherwise the leicester riders would've had an advantage... Having said that, I think Leicester will still nick it by about 6/8 points.
RoundTheBoards
I'm hoping that Birmingham can win this, simply because we don't need another season with a team cast adrift at the bottom getting thrashed every meeting. But I think Leicester will win. The Lions are generally reasonable around Perry Barr, but the Brummies have no home advantage with a team of practically all newcomers. Zagar wasn't over-impressive at Belle Vue last week, and Jeppesen and Jepsen Jensen will need time to settle. I think Birmingham will get dialled in ok in time, but the opening weeks will be tough. Totally agree, but it seems no matter what team Birmingham put out they always disappoint. Hope I'm wrong, but expecting an away win here. Agree with most of your post, however, in B'ham's defence, from all completed home meetings (15 Heats) the biggest defeat was by only 6 points last season ( I think) Got hammered once by (ironically) Leicester, in a rain affected meeting... But, you're right...it doesn't help being the whipping boys each week... The team looks better 'on paper', this season....even better if Fast Freddie could be added at some point? 😀

heathen52
A close meeting could go either way, I am going for a narrow away win, with the reserves being the key. The weather is perfect right now lovely warm sunny day. Edited March 24 by heathen52

StephenMiller
Douglas and Masters are always excellent around Perry Barr, so the Brummies will have their hands full tonight i think
