szkocjasid
A couple of the replacement riders are not in average order. Zischke (6.96) chosen ahead of Castagna (7.11) - before Castagna subsequently got injured. Although Tate would've gotten a pick if Bachelor pulled out. Not sure if Batch will be riding after missing the Pairs. Now Vuolas (6.40) picked ahead of Flint (6.85) & Thomson (6.53)! Thompson pulled out of the pairs before yesterday as was going to replace howarth, think he was carrying a small injury and would have had 5 meetings in 5 days
Fozzie4388 Posted yesterday at 09:22 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 09:22 AM Riss has withdrawn after his crash yesterday too. Simon Lambert's going to be in it at this rate isn't he?

It's a shame, because Erik is going really well just now and is entertaining to watch. Erik's Facebook page Second week of racing done ✅ Started off with the first Premiership meeting at Oxford on thursday and scoring 20pts from 7 rides, which was a great score for myself. Unfortunately we lost 42-48 to Ipswich on the night. Yesterday, Charles Wright and myself competed in the Championship Pairs for Redcar at Workington. After having to retire in my first ride due to mechanical issues, I managed to only drop 1 point to an opposing rider and me and Charles secured the win for Redcar 🏆 Unfortunately I crashed in the final of yesterday’s meeting. Even tho I continued riding in the re-run I later on realized I have injured my shoulder in the incident. I was due to race at the CLRC at Scunthorpe today, but unfortunately I am not capable to ride my bike today and have to pull out of the meeting. It’s a big shame as it’s a meeting I have been looking forward to for a long time.

Yearbyred Posted yesterday at 10:07 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 10:07 AM Obviously Erik’s cunning plan to “park his bike to cause a crash” yesterday has backfired on him. (I’m being sarcastic just in case anyone takes this literally)

Maybe there's too many foreign fixtures to avoid all of them, but the idea of the early riders Champ so they'll have the strongest possible field doesn't seem to have made a difference. I've also heard Flint is in Germany, so not available. Thankfully doesn't sound like many of the injuries are serious, so riders won't be out for long. Clubs can pick 2 of their top 3 riders anyway. Even if Castagna felt 80% fit & would normally ride through the pain for a league match, could have decided an 100% Thomson gave Monarchs the best chance of success. allthegearbutnaeidea Posted yesterday at 10:14 AM Report Share Posted yesterday at 10:14 AM (edited) So still replacements to find for Troy and Riss, glad I’m not bothering with the eight hour round trip for this. That’s Cook, Kildemand, Klindt, Batchelor, Riss, Kerr, Flint, Castagna all missing with 2 more riders to find at 4 hours notice. Along with no Brennan, Ben Cook, Pickering, Nicholls, Schlein from previous seasons. Hope there’s a good crowd like there was yesterday at the GTS Tyres Arena.
