Steve lawson has put some new grey shale down, he said it should bind with the red stuff to hopefully make less dust, at least now with the new viewing area on bend 3/4 you can escape any dust, or get a different view, and it's a very good view as well. UTC Depends on the wind direction mate. Forecast possible Northerly on Saturday which could blow any dust to that end . Sure Steve will be utterly focussed on keeping an adequate level of moisture in the track .

TheWellBehavedWorrall
This should be an outstanding meeting; an excellent way to start the season. I visited Northside last year and thought the set-up was great. Steve Lawson has done an incredible job, as have the Workington Comets’ stakeholders, so hosting this meeting is well deserved.

Unfortunately looks to be a bad injury, but Tai has done little for the Ben fund who help out all riders, so why make a special case, it happened in Poland, let them do the fund raising. You may not agree with my opinion, but other people maybe thinking the same

More improvements made, now got proper toilets and standing on bend 3/4 and can walk all around the arena now , without going out and back in
SteelShoe
Think the Stadium will look very well on Saturday and I hope the fans will be suitably impressed with what has taken place in the last 3months. It is a work in progress but is coming along nicely. I'm sure the fans will see some top speedway on what is forecast to be a nice day. Should be a great start to a weekend festival of Championship Speedway, can't wait. 👍
SaddlebowRoad Posted yesterday at 12:06 PM Report Share Posted yesterday at 12:06 PM looking to start a discussion rather than an argument when i say this and i recognise how good northside has become in a short space of time but why is it cash only ticket sales at worky and no online tickets card and/or online really ought to be available for a track hosting a national/shared event in 2025 imo

I first head it was signal issues but you get 5G up there no bother. It could be card processing fees? I don't know. Maybe someone else can chip in and provide an explanation.
