I'd try some open meetings, it would then be a neutral track, no home track advantage, might be better supported than expecting fans to turn up weekly, that would be easier to accomodate date wise, fitting in with the Rugby & Stock Cars, stick to May to September. DaveWayne Posted 6 hours ago Report Share Posted 6 hours ago I think the big issue with speedway ever returning to Odsal is the new stand at the top of the picture. The supporting legs at the front are very close to the outer perimeter of the track and could be a danger to a falling rider. It also wouldn't be able to host any high ranking events as, although the bends are wide, the width of the straights is below the minimum requirement for any FIM competition.
