Think it’s always the same with these two legged ties, keep it to a maximum of 10 points and you’ve a chance of going through. Any closer is a bonus. Just wondering if anyone can give me a bit of travel advice - I'm trying to get back to Liverpool on the train after. I'm planning to come to as many as I can this year so I'm trying out ways of doing it. 7.30 start What sort of time is it likely to finish? 25min bus journey to Picadilly there's a train at 10, last one at 10.47 Do you think this is feasible or ridiculous? Cheers! Assuming no problems - weather or crashes, should be finished 21:15. That's my hope anyway, so I beat the any roadworks on the M56! They usually start closing lanes at 22:00. Tinker
Heat 2 could be interesting and could set the tone for the rest of the meeting? Riders who could swing the match either way depending on what sort of night they have are Lidsey and Ellis. We'll see.
Manifesto
Fancy aces by 8. think BV will be hot out the blocks and may take Doyle a few meetings to get back into the swing of things
TTT
bet365 only have the handicap at Belle Vue -4.0. Kurtz and Bewley will do their usual thing but Ipswich really should be winning the 2nd String and Reserve battle tonight with the way both teams have lined-up (Brennan @ No.4). Not sure we’ve ever got that close before? An 8 point defeat and I’d be extremely confident on Thursday at Foxhall. Emil wasn’t on the pace in the Peter Craven last week, in fact he looked awful. Maybe he was trying things, maybe he wasn’t. But we’re going to need double figures from him here. We look such a strong side on paper and we won everywhere last year with our full side except here. This track is an obvious issue for us. King, Ellis, Dan and Jenkins all scored poorly on every visit although Dan had a decent meeting from reserve first time out scoring 9. Didn't we get a draw there when the stadium first opened? Since then it's normally a battering off around 20. I think Brady and Dan will be the top scorers on the night,, but with Brennan now in our team we should be able to keep it closer than in the past,, anything 10 or under and I think it will be job done. I just really hope Danny has a decent night or the nay sayers could be out for him very early

I just really hope Danny has a decent night or the nay sayers could be out for him very early Think the pressure is off Danny now in a strange way. In the past he’s been third heat leader and fans were expecting him to throw in good scores everywhere. These days he’s now the fifth strongest rider of the top five in reality despite a similar average to Ellis, and the expectations of him will be lowered. Riding at two, he just needs to contribute and chip in with five or six points and it’s job done. Wouldn’t be surprised to see him drop to reserve at some point this year as I’m sure Dan will score consistently well down at reserve. Other teams make a better fist of things here than we do but that’s because while some clubs have a few who struggle around here in their teams, we seem to have the majority of the team that struggle around here. Col
Doyle has won how many Peter Craven memorials? Brennan spent a couple of seasons with the Aces while King & Ellis have won British Championships at the NSS. How are the Witches going to struggle? What is the point of doing rider/team manager interviews while the mascot is doing laps - no one can hear anything they're saying.

Recent history is a completely different story.
JoeW436
This will probably be the meeting of the year with the two strongest line ups in the league/cup at full strength…before injuries kick in and whatever other BS forces the first appearances of guests and R/R.
