No he got jail time for running a business of selling “fully loaded” firesticks, not using them.

I run a supermarket and the answer is "Yes" unfortunately.. We don't even report shoplifters to the police as absolutely nothing gets done... They only attend if over £500 and we have clear CCTV coverage of the thief.. However, as we no longer are allowed to apprehend, unless physically threatened, there is no one to arrest even if the Police do ever turn up.. There are plenty of apps available via YouTube from around the globe that can get you the sports channels... A VPN can have you watching from anywhere in the world... 1

The authorities deem it ok by the fact they aren’t bothered about it. The country is turning into a lawless cesspit so why abide by the rules around TV content? They'll have a certain amount of "leakage" budgeted into their numbers and will make up any shortfall by raising prices for the plebs (us) queuing at the tills.

I’ve done Security for many years but no longer do retail security. I still have friends that I keep in touch with though who do still do retail security, and they tell me the rules changed a couple of years ago. When I was doing it, we were allowed to use what we called “reasonable force” in dealing with thieves who weren’t playing ball. Now, you’re no longer allowed to touch anybody even if they’re raiding the whole shop. The guards now are simply a “visual deterrent”. Now I’m not sure if that’s the case across the board or just certain businesses, but that’s definitely the case with people I know who are currently still in the trade.

Not to me it isn't - I suppose it depends upon your personal morals. I do not like to deliberately break any law, others use a risk of detection basis and others imply don't care.
The Cheese
https://britishspeedway.co.uk/rowe-motor-oil-premiership/tnt-sports-becomes-the-new-home-of-bikes-in-uk-and-ireland/ DMAX will show the free-to-air highlights from every round of the SGP and Premiership. Hopefully that won't affect people's viewing of Naked and Afraid and the series on Bigfoot and Aliens.
