Except of course that speedway was only showing twice every three weeks - there'll always be something else that fills in for the filler ...

Kabaddi....😀.

With Bomber guesting for the Punjab Panthers .

We’re letting you know that from 28 February 2025, the Eurosport
and TNT Sports brands will be brought together. All your existing sports content currently on Eurosport 1 & 2 will be available on
TNT Sports channels 1 to 4.

TNT Sports in the UK will become the new home for a host of live sports including Tennis, Cycling, Snooker and the Olympics.

Any on-demand content currently in the discovery+ app is unaffected by this change.

Thank you,

Email from BT who I get phone and broadband with, I get free discovery via the app, reading this hopefully this will continue this season,  so I can still watch the speedway via the app on my smart TV

I have read again this morning that all Sport on discovery App is moving to TNT so situation is not clear after the Email you got ??

Well that's good news for people with discovery App and those who have sky Q who get the App free

Strange comment. Everyone gets the app free, you'll still need to pay between £20-£30.99pm for sports though 🤪

Reports today suggest that Eurosport will disappear from screens in the UK as a result of a merger coming into place from February 28. Major UK sports channel set to be AXED from British TV screens after 35 years of broadcasting | Daily Mail Online

It's slowly disappearing in 'reality', not just the TV screen!

I wonder if when the TNT execs heard that they also had speedway, they said...

"Speedway? Is that still going?" 😀

Just like, it seems, about half the UK population...

didn't they pull out of contract early when it was BT SPORT because of costs etc ? then Eurosport took over ?

Indeed but many people presuming it'll be on TNT, might be another shock coming with no domestic speedway on TV.

That would be quite a shock, like others have said it's quite a nice Monday night air filler during the summer, interesting times, coming on the back of the loss of Cardiff it's not great times for British Speedway.

Maybe BSN will be sole coverage for premiership?

The best hope is that it ends up on quest, I’m certainly not paying additional monthly subscription to watch speedway on tv.

If the truth be told I can’t see it being on TV anywhere once the current deal expires.

We can definitely forget Sky the promoters certainly missed an opportunity with that golden goose & the sport is in a worse position then when Sky dumped it.

Interesting to see how few fans are aware of the one hour highlights programme on Quest that is free to air on the week we have a live British meeting. Also I have to say I prefer the pre pack highlights programme as it features a higher proportion of racing to waffle and drops dull races so would appeal to non speedway fans more.

Not looked back through the pages but didn't BT sports and Warner Bros Discovery join up a few years ago?

I'm sure I received an e mail saying I was getting the discovery app added to my subscription due to this new partnership.

Is this not how it's TNT sports now?
