Well before his days in speedway. not as bad as Garrity but another with no brains and a drug addiction. piston197 Posted 17 hours ago Report Share Posted 17 hours ago I knew the Mavericks team manager Pete Towersey well, and always sat with him at Wasps meetings, he had problems with Jamie Westacott's attitude to turning up regularly, inspite of others giving him as much support and help as possible, as witnessed below . Towersey is still waiting to hear from the rider although he has spoken to his upset father Fred. Towersey said: "Speedway is a team sport and this is just not acceptable - but until we hear from him we cannot make a judgement. I have tried to contact him but he is not answering his telephone." Westacott senior said: "I don't know what is going to happen but I have a feeling there could soon be speedway bikes and equipment for sale. I am very disappointed after all the work which has been done for him. "I would imagine that if he does get in touch with Newport then it may be too late. This could be the end.
