CrystalCastles
Puk was universally loved at Newport and I'm sure that the Newport Team has been announced last because Puk's been working hard on trying to make it competitive but also keep a strong same connection. Given who Puk has been able to attract and the construction of other Teams. I think it would be a nice touch if Mads was involved. Regarding Mads - I know he dipped of a bit before he retired, mainly due to confidence and a dip in form/consistency. At the same time, i think he'd come out and give 100% and could mix it. That is the way he rode. That being said i would be surprised if he was in the team. Hopefully it will be an amazing Day for Puk and it's genuinely great to see some of the names involved. kelvinht
Are there another 3 ex-riders similar to Mads who'd perhaps come along for a couple of demo races between the main event races.....

If you are looking for ex Newport riders, then Kim Nilsson is the stand out
DJC
Anders was mascot for a while when he was a kid so I'll take the technicality on 3 riders that have worn a Wasps race jacket! Great line up. Hope he gets a bumper crowd 15 hours ago, kelvinht said: Are there another 3 ex-riders similar to Mads who'd perhaps come along for a couple of demo races between the main event races..... I imagine he'll be over for it but regardless of whether he does a few laps. There will probably be a few of the old Newport Danes over, wouldn't be surprised to see Lund there as well

Speedball
Slight change to the lineups. Michael Jepsen-Jensen is now unavailable. Jonas Jeppesen comes in to replace him but he will now lineup for Wolves. Nicolai Klindt swaps from Wolves to Peterborough to replace MJJ. Team managers also announced. Rob Lyon (King's Lynn), Laurence Rogers (Newport), Peter Adams (Wolves) and Trevor Swales (Peterborough). Arch Stanton
Time for it to change of course, but forecast for Sunday looks chilly, but thankfully dry.
Pinny
Hope Puk has a brilliant day. Well deserved. Wont forget the winter when Tim Stone signed him as third heatleader on a 9.00 average. I remember he had won the Danish u21 final ahead of Bjerre the year before and just had that feeling he would be an instant success at Newport. Must of been one of the only ones as most predicted he would do well to average 5. He went on to average over his 9.00 assessed figure in his only year in the Premier and was superb everywhere he went. I went to many away meetings that season and don't think I seen him have a bad one on tracks he was visiting for the first time. An extremely good guy, always turned out well and gave nothing less than 100 percent. I think injuries knocked him back a bit, he started to make big strides in the GP's and topped the Polish and British averages for a few seasons before going on a run of nasty crashes. Had he avoided them with the form he was in, its not unreasonable to think he would of picked up more GP wins and podiums. His partnership at Newport with Tony Atkin will go down as probably the most popular partnership at Newport after Wato and Smarty. Hope he has a big crowd and good weather.
