I imagine that the cost of providing all the temporary seating required at the NSS will have a big impact on the viability of the event too.

 

 

I agree with you, the reason it is now seen as not viable for Cardiff is declining crowds but the reason last year was so poorly attended was because the previous year the racing was very poor, last year the racing was pretty good so I would have expected that to have had a positive effect on the crowd so maybe considering this they should have let it run for another year in my opinion.

a six figure sum to hire the stadium lay the track might have a say in it ? where as b/vue  would be no where near that cost ?

I just think that it is a bit short sighted because the racing was much better last year and that would have boosted this years attendance. Crowd levels were very poor last year mainly due to the poor racing the year before.

there is no guarantee the crowd would return data shows it's falling every year why would you gamble that amount of money? where as at NSS less costs and virtually guaranteed quality racing which is what we go for 😜

So just another good speedway meeting at Belle Vue, nowhere near the event at Cardiff was.

No idea, I don't have Discovery. Looks like I won't be watching any GP's on TV this year, but i'm not bothered about that tbh...

I won't either if it is only on TNT, Discovery I could watch through Amazon Prime but not sure if that option will be available.

All discovery sport along with Eurosport are going on TNT there will be no sport on discovery +sadly

I pick and choose which I watch, don't have full package. BSN is better value than TNT if you look at the amount of meetings they cover

On a pure Speedway coverage quantity basis maybe, but TNT do broadcast World Championship Speedway alongside Premiership... and you get all of the other sport as well. I suppose being a Poole fan though, it's the lower level Speedway you're more interested in lol 😉😂

I am interested in all speedway but it seems alot to me for something that discovery plus were doing a lot cheaper last year. Premiership is available on BSN which in my opinion is better presented and better value but I dont buy the whole package. Also some speedway you could get through Amazon Prime which wont happen now.
