Fortythirtyeight
Oh well, sign of the times, they have given up on Cardiff with it’s inflated prices and ever lowering crowd. So now we have two days at Belle Vue, hardly the same attraction but at least it’s a GP.
THE DEAN MACHINE
Buxton’s track is still available, I will attend 1 of the GPs at belle vue if it £25 or less per ticket otherwise no Edited 6 hours ago by THE DEAN MACHINE

noaksey
Not a word about the thousands who have booked hotel rooms/travel etc If there was any doubt about the viability of the event why announce the date? Shambolic 3

Why not they were selling Cardiff tickets for that, they have reduced their costs by more than half so why not ? But I agree they won’t and so I won’t be going Edited 6 hours ago by THE DEAN MACHINE
Jon Boy
Belle Vue grand stand seats will be at least £95. They have to be to cover the licence and additional costs.
SaddlebowRoad
not ideal but ive thought for a while that cardiff had run its course as a gp however good the social side of the weekend was the sums not adding up isnt a surprise
old bob at herne bay
No surprise about Cardiff IMO . Held on a dodgy made up track, in a difficult to reach location. Overpriced admission and outrageous catering charges. Extortionate hotel prices. Good riddance to the “principality” stadium. Even the circus appear to be on its a**e giving 2 rounds to Belle Vue. A track with limited spectator accommodation around the track. Weather permitting should be 2 home rounds for Bewdley to win. £25 a ticket sounds about right, maybe an extra fiver for a stand seat. Merry Christmas

Utter rubbish, their costs are a 1/4 of Cardiff, if they were selling Cardiff tickets for £20 then the CAN sell belle vue for that but they won’t

Great but did smell of desperation

Gambo
So sad. It was a great social weekend, but we could see the decline in attendances, particularly on the Friday night. Fortunately we had booked our Travelodge on Flexible rate, so have already cancelled and been told that we get a full refund. Can't fault Travelodge & PayPal. Refund back in my account already!! 😀 Edited 5 hours ago by Gambo Refund
