TheWellBehavedWorrall
There’s more chance of Long Eaton finishing in the top four than Plymouth.

Marksman
Hard to predict without some teams being completed, but with the options that are left I can't look past the bottom 4 being Plymouth, Berwick, Edinburgh and Scunthorpe in no particular order. Top 5 could finish in any order, injury and re-declarations dependant. Oxford - will be competitive Home and Away again, expect Nicholls and Jody Scott to come back in at some point Redcar - Best heatleader trio, will be a team you want to go and watch. I don't rate the bottom 3 of the team much though. Poole - will be competitive whoever completes the team, not as dominant as in 2024, but may well be come the end of the season. Glasgow - like Redcar but a better overall top 5, Howarth and Flint probably won't improve their averages much but Dan Thompson and Boughen will Workington - top heatleader trio at Home, Vuolas and Zischke will have the beating of anyone around Northside, strong at reserve too. But the Comets will be questionable away from home.

I'm not saying it won't happen, but it's not a foregone conclusion that it will happen. Doesn’t matter if they improve Oxford can still bring Nicholls and Jody Scott in for whoever they want Aslong as the combined average for those 2 doesn’t exceed the ones going out if there above 40.

I'm not saying Nicholls won't come back, but it's not as simple as some seem to think. Edited 4 hours ago by szkocjasid

Not sure if like last year that'll increase through the season but it's not as simple as being less than the riders they're replacing now. If was 1 change then that's the case but not for any more than

You can make like for like changes without having to redeclare the team under the point limit i.e. replacing a 5 pointer with a rider with an average 5 or bellow. Nicholls wouldn't be a like for like replacement for any rider other than Masters, so to slot him in the team would have to redeclare at 40 or below. It will most likely depend on how quickly Scott can return on if it will be possible.
