Well if it's Ablitt it suggests Arnies interpretation of the vvery confused rules is right, if not, the jury is still out. Although I'd expect them to want to announce Ablitt of they are allowed to use him.

Rhys, Ben and Nathan Ablitt would be a good heatleader trio. Along with Jack Kingston, Nathan Hargrave, Sam Woods and then whatevers left. That would leave 4.77 available for the final rider Nathan Ablitt 8.33 Ben Morley 8.32 Jack Kingston 6.45 An Other Rhys Naylor 4.13 Sam Woods 3.00 Nathan Hargrave 3.00 Total 33.

Potentially swap Woods for Connor King and Josh Couzins for Nathan Hargrave. Don't know if Josh Warren still has bikes or interest but he would be a good final piece......not much of an Eastbourne flavour to the side though. That would leave 4.38 for the final rider. Josh Warren on 4.93 wouldn't fit. Nathan Ablitt 8.33 Ben Morley 8.32 Jack Kingston 6.45 An Other Rhys Naylor 4.13 Connor King 3.39 Josh Couzins 3.00 Total 33.

szkocjasid
If Nathan Ablitt isn't in the team, how about Jake Knight (former Eastbourne rider) joining Morley at the top of the team?

Are the Eastbourne supporters going to travel 60-90 minutes to see their team and are the Kent/Canterbury/Sittingbourne supporters going to support their arch enemy Eastbourne as their team. It is going to need a lot of work and promoting. It does mean there is speedway in Kent but I suspect not for a full season. When Eastbourne rode at Arlington fans came from all over south east with many having a journey of 60 mins plus. There’s no walk-up crowd as there is at Oxford or Poole for example. Arlington is down a narrow country lane off the A22 in the Sussex countryside as Mr Millard was apt to say on Sky
gazzac
22 hours ago, M.D said: Second rider is.. Jamie Ethrington. Good second signing and like the ethos of a 30 year old heat leader and a promising 15 year old as the first 2 signings. See on the bspa website Jamie was 2nd to Cairns in the youth championship this year so an ideal signing. A 15 year old, a 30 year old, who's 45 and still riding......

Closest i could find was Luke Clifton who will be 43 next season.....although Rob Hollingsworth and Mick Skinner are both north of 60 and would still do a good job at reserve.

By averages only, that gives Kent the strongest top 2 in either NT or NL.

szkocjasid
This team fits at 38.00 exactly Nathan Ablitt 8.33 Ben Morley 8.32 Vinnie Foord 6.29 Josh Warren 4.93 Rhys Naylor 4.13 Woods / Hargrave / Couzins 3.00 Jamie Etherington 3.00 Total 38.00 Edited Tuesday at 05:33 PM by szkocjasid
HGould
VJF signing for Kent though logical due to his roots suggests to me that Workington wont be in the declared "Trophy" league. If Worky have a home match on a Saturday why would VJF consign himself to being in Kent by noon the next day? Suggests that Worky will be in NDL allowing VJF to ride for Worky in the NDL and Kent in the Trophy
