Do we expect Luke Killeen to remain in the NDL next season?

I'd like him to race at this level. My theory is that he will learn faster how to control & win races & as a senior rider how to help or protect a team mate for the benefit of his team.

Racing at a lower level can be a confidence building exercise & also will mean he will be expected to return double figure scores most meetings where in the higher leagues with less pressure on him a line of zeros is put down to a whole manner of reasons & the result is confidence will drop & as so many times before a fantastic young talent may walk away.

I always say young riders should exploit the lowest league they can for as long as they can. you can practice on an empty track for as long as you like but it's not racing

Is the 3 league rule still a thing?

I read someone say somewhere that Sam Hagon was ineligible to race in the NL but I dunno why?

The 3 league rule only lasted one year, Hagon is ineligible because his Champ average is over 4.

Thanks. I was not aware of the over 4 average rule, I assumed there'd be some rules in place, I just didn't know what they were.

Question then. Does that mean Luke Harrison and Jake Mulford are both ineligible for the NDL too, given that both of their averages are above 4.00 in the CL. Or because they currently have NDL averages are they allowed?

Also is it just the final averages that count? Jack Smith had an average over 5 at one point but is now below 4, would he be eligible.

Thanks.

So the rules have changed then but they haven’t made it public…

Wouldn't know if been made public but been told he's eligible

I was just about to ask the same thing, have the rules changed then?

Don't know why the need for secrecy? If they spotted a flaw & feel the 4 point rule was a mistake, just explain why it changed & harp on about the reason being for DEVELOPMENT

The same thing happens every winter, in that fans pick up on a potential issue but it transpires the rule changed to permit it. I agree that there really is no need for secrecy.
