New 3.00 reserves for 2025.

Recommended Posts

Just starting this thread as there is a lot of young talent around the British Youth Championship. I'm just curious as to who is old and good enough to progress onto the NDL/whatever the format will be next season. It sounds like there's going to be a lot of places up for grabs...?

Oliver Bovingdon

Ollie Binns

Caydin Martin

Harry Fletcher

Lee Harrison

Who else is likely to be considered by teams, are any of these riders even old enough? I know some of them are racing 500s at Scunthorpe Amateur meetings, but I believe the age limit for that is lower than the NDL? It's so hard to find any real info on the BYC which is sad... There used to be a proper website with profiles and everything.

Can ride 500s from 14 in British Youth Championship and Youth 500 class for Amateurs but need to be 15 to ride in NDL and to ride against adults in 2nd halfs and practice, usually a list of eligible riders for the year are on SCB Website but probably too early to publish it.

Lee Harrison, Harrison Ryan and Joe Crewe all rode in the British under 19 so should be NDL eligible. Add Billy Budd.

Fairly sure Bovingdon, Binns, Martyn and Fletcher are too young.

Ryan Ingram is another rider to keep an eye on , not sure of his age though.

There's loads of 3 point riders who guested in the NDL or rode in Nora matches to fill reserve spaces if needed: Owen Booth, Max Broadhurst, Billy Budd, Josh Couzins, Kieran Douglas, Jacob Fellows, Lee Harrison, Nathan Hargrave, Wayne Hutt, Chris Laidlaw, James Laker, Rhys Laker, Nick Laurence, Eli Meadows, Sam Ward, Morgan Williams, Charlie Wood & Sam Woods.

He will be delighted you’ve included him on this list.
