With teams starting to take shape; it's time to discuss your predictions for the 2025 season.

Will Ipswich finally lift the trophy? Or will Belle Vue retain their title?

Thoughts below...

League table:

1. Ipswich

2. Belle Vue

3. Sheffield

4. King’s Lynn

5. Oxford

6. Birmingham

7. Leicester

Play-off Winner 1 - Ipswich

Play-off Winner 2 - Belle Vue

Grand Final Winner - Ipswich

I was sitting here stunned that people have Sheffield so low down, so I thought about it a bit & I think I agree.

Yes they have a top 3 that can comfortably be 8>9 average riders. To achieve that they'd need to be scoring 30>35 week in week out & that's an ask for any team. I do struggle to see how they score 16>21 points from Pickering & basically 3 'Rising Stars'.

Sheffield could really suffer an OUCH season.

I've said, it's vital to have a strong top 2 but Sheffield have tried to add a 3rd & given themselves one of the worst tails possible.

So right now, yep, I'll put them 5th

1. Ipswich

2. Belle Vue

3. King's Lynn

4. Oxford

5. Sheffield

6. Leicester

7. Birmingham

Surely if the top 3 score between 30 and 35 each meeting, the bottom 3 only have to score between 11 and 16 a meeting to get a result.

Not going to win many bonus points and when it comes to play/offs going to be weak that's if they make it ???

As AceBelle says, it's not just about a result, a top team has to be around 50+ at home.

Away from home there's no chance of the top 3 scoring 30+.

Sheffield would have been far far better leaving out a Holder or Woffinden & making sure Rowe was at No6.

I think they could be in real trouble
