I assume that the price is a possible rumour 😂

Might be a rumour but based on SON i dont think they will be far out... Im with Noodles, not many can afford/justify those prices.. B/V charge £25/£30 for league matches... How can anyone think a GP is worth 4 time more ??

What an absolute piss take those prices are if they are confirmed. Even half of what has been posted on here is a rip off. There will be nobody there !

Is the BV stadium an upgrade on Cardiff? Absolutely not, doesn't compare. Just because the racing maybe better (not guaranteed, have seen some bang average meetings from BV), you can't be charging those kind of prices.

Whoever is responsible for those prices needs to hang their heads in shame.

As I stated yesterday on the other BV topic, its the prices that are keeping fans away. 15 quid for a season opening stream last night was a joke. I still bought it as was bored, but many wouldn't be in a position to and certainly won't be able to afford the prices at BV for the GP's.

People have been saying it for years and years, speedway for what it is these days is not worth the money you pay. People vote with their wallet and its a fact hence the low crowds.

There needs to be a complete restructure with prices. If riders need to take pay cuts, so be it. Most people during their careers will have had to of taken pay cuts and moving to jobs with less wages, I know I have numerous times. Its life.

Speedway shoots itself in the foot again.

I'm not defending the pricing, especially as we don't know what the prices are yet but you have to bear in mind that a lot of things have pretty much doubled in price over the last few years or certainly increased by more than the headline inflation figures that are produced. This year I'll be paying £100+ to watch Iron Maiden and GnR, £50+ to watch Ghost, Extreme & Volbeat, that's quite an expensive year and annoying that they're all touring in the same year.

The difference is I didn't just watch a similar event consisting of many of the same participants last night for £26. The SoN ticketing worked out at £30.75 per meeting for me in the imaginatively named South Stand. £40-£50 per ticket seems a comparable price to me compared to those bands above that nobody will have ever heard of (maybe not Extreme) but everybody will have their limits... £200+ for Black Sabbath absolutely shattered mine and therefore I'll not be going... I'll get over it.

I just don't get the logic in it.

Take it away from an Elite Stadium and put it in a far inferior one and triple the price . Oh and throw in a second GP on that weekend too.

6 figure sum to hire Cardiff stadium so they are well in pocket by not going there 🤔
