Cardiff had to have a roof as it is probably the wettest city in the uk. Edited Sunday at 09:33 AM by foreverblue

They weren't allowed to for the SoN last season, according to the email they sent out. 'As this is a FIM event we are unable to offer our season ticket holders a priority window to purchase tickets'. Maybe Polish clubs can demand/have more say in the administration of ticket sales?
old bob at herne bay
Not too many seats at the Belle Vue Stadium ... so I guess get your order in quick is a good reason to book in advance. Having a double header must reduce staging costs dramatically - keep all the riders officials and broadcast facilities in situ for the weekend. Must be hoping for 2 near capacity crowds at a raceway that holds an estimated 10,000. In the mystery world of speedway we never ever are told of attendances, EXCEPT when the promoter closes down and quotes poor attendances. Somehow the accounts of speedway never seem to attract the attention of hte Inland Revenue, unlike every penny I have earnt.

The HMRC selection criteria mean they are not likely to regard loss making businesses as a high priority. [Loss offset rules are far more restrictive than people believe and the commonly held belief that tax losses generated by speedway businesses have significant value is often misguided]

Bavarian
Yes, but for safety reasons it is a reduced capacity for the SGP, and they had an etxra grand stand erected, which reduced the standing room. It was a sell-out 8,700 capacity crowd at Landshut this year, and it will be something like that again in 2025, even with a second temporary grand stand, which they intend to erect additionally. Belle Vue with the temporary stands will have about the same capacity as Landshut has for the SGP.
