Technically, now you get a testimonial for 10 years in Speedway and not just for 1 club, I agree, it just seems a bit strange that he gets his testimonial now after 2 half seasons following a 6 and a half year break. After his lucrative testimonial at Wroclaw last year you have to wonder whether it'll be worth his while staging one in this country.

Kurtz due one then :t:

... meanwhile, Poole could be running into December!

If they pick three decent guests on a cherry picked, horses for courses basis, they could win the thing!!!

What will they need?

Two top level riders and a top tier second string to push one of theirs down to reserve...?

A Poole Select...

Racing on Wednesdays I presume? 😮🫡

Poole in the KOC is no more "mickey mouse" than this season where you had 1 team not entering and 2 given a bye to the semi-finals.

It's fairer than giving a random side the bye and with the Holder brothers returning and a rare appearance from Woffinden there it's guaranteed a massive crowd.

Would rather have seen Lublin compete instead of Poole 😂

Testomonial's should only be for loyalty to one club and not riding for ten years for various clubs.  I remember Dave Mullet getting two at Reading and as far as I'm aware he is the only rider to achieve two for the same club

I think that do ten years and a testimonial is deserved, regardless of teams ridden for..

Especially as many riders get moved simply because of averages, and not down to being their choice...

And with doubling up and down now prevalent, and tracks closing at almost one a year over the past decade, any rider nowadays has pretty much zero chance of staying with the same club in both leagues..

Supporting British Speedway for ten years on the bounce deserves some recognition...

I would go half way between these ideas. 10 years with a club = a testimonial, but doesn't have to be 10 in succession. Then a 25 year testimonial. A farewell meeting if they've ridden for 20 seasons?
