Confirmed Signings for 2025

A geographical league makes sense from a team point of view, but for a rider it would make more sense if the teams were spread all over the country in both leagues.

For example there's a kid who lives in Edinburgh. His teams could be Edinburgh in the NDL and Workington in the NT rather than a north/south split where his teams would be Edinburgh and Birmingham/Kent/Plymouth etc. Less travelling for home meetings for individual riders.

So it's swings and roundabouts. Although I do understand Workington's issues with travel.

Hence why it should NL North - Workington, Edinburgh, Middlesboro, Belle Vue, Sheff/Scunny and NL South - Plymouth, Kings Lynn, Oxford, Leicester, Kent, Birmingham.

Would make far more sense in respect of travelling. I understand that riders can double up anyway, but then that is down to them. Although a paltry amount is paid to the riders for travel, it makes sense to make it as affordable as possible on all levels. 

And as I have stated before, I'm not sure why Rev limiters need to be a compulsory item and why U16's and NDL/NDT riders need a silencer less than 4 years old when they haven't materially changed since 2015.

If you knew what was implied compared to what has developed you may have a different opinion.

BIRMINGHAM have completed their National Development Trophy side for the 2025 season.
Max James and Sam McGurk will join Darryl Ritchings, Arran Butcher, Tom Spencer, Eli Meadows and Senna Summers with Max Broadhurst named the Ductair Bulls’ official No.8.
Team Manager Laurence Rogers said: “Max James rode for the Buffaloes in the 2023 Midland Development League notching two maximums and ended with a 10.67 average.
“He took some big steps in the right direction with Leicester in the National Development League this year and he’ll be a key rider for us.
“Sam McGurk is only 18 and for me he is a highly promising youngster.
“He gained a lot more experience with Workington this year and he’ll really kick on from that next season I think.
“I’m glad we’ve been able to bring in Max Broadhurst as the Bulls’ No.8 - he was a Buffalo in 2024, he’s secured an NDL spot with Oxford and it’s going to be good to have him as part of the squad.”
