Lambo is part of the team I’m sure as he’s invested in new equipment for 2025

That adds substance to the team we have put forward on this thread.

I suppose point for point Lambo on 5 83 (after 2.5% reduction) is good value certainly around Scunny.

Going with a top two of Worrall and Jake, will increase the need for Connor and Lambo to step it up certainly looking to the Big Heats.

With the above I cannot see us going for a 2-3 point reserve. It gives weight to the idea that we are bringing in two reserves who can add to their averages. The Kennedys, Zaine  4.27 & Declan 4.00 would surely fit that requirement

Then with Luke 4.32  up in the 1-5 and very capable of adding 2pts to that we have a declared Team CMA of 39.33.

Its looks a competive line up. Lots to look forward to in 2025.

If Luke rides at no2 with our top no1 then I would not expect to see an improvement in average but track skills, yes.

I would, also, think that he & the 2 reserves will fluctuate between the 3 riding positions throughout the season.

17. Born 30 March 2007.

I think that's wildly out. His last season as an under 16 rider was 2016/17. I think 2001 is more likely, which would make him 24 at the start of next season. And all the evidence I have seen suggests that Zaine is the better rider.

Surely @StevePark couldn’t make an error again?

Maybe he shouldn’t be so quick to jump on Mr Barrie in future.

Could be.

he will need more than new equipment. On the slippery slope downhill I’m afraid.

He had a good season in '23 & last year was curtailed by his illness, pneumonia, of which he had for over 2 months but still rode with it.

He DID NOT let the Scorpions down!

Who is Zaine and Declan on par with over here then based on their results in Australia?

They barely rode last winter, but Jye Etheridge and James Pearson I'd say, so I think around 4.5 would be a reasonable expectation.

As for Declan, as far as I can tell based on what little results info I can find on him.

Worse than: Tate Zischke, Luke Killeen, Declan Killeen.

Better than: Jacob Hook, Dayle Wood, Matt Marson.

I know that doesn't tell you much 🤣

Zaine has ridden over here before a few years back and he was more than capable of being a solid number 6 or a good number 2, but he's had some horrific injuries.

That’s what you’d hope for from Declan then by being in the Championship and not NL.

Zaine looked useful when he was here before but I wondered how much he’d ridden since his serious injuries. As I don’t regularly look at Australian results.

But Jacob Hook has a better Champ average than Luke Killeen, plus Wood has a better NDL average than Declan Killeen (from 2 matches I know).

Aussie / foreign form is a useful indicator, but you never know for sure what you'll get!

I think some people are too harsh on Simon Lambert. Looking at his final averages since covid.

2024: 5.98

2023: 6.02

2022: 5.33

2021: 5.82

He's a solid 5 to 6 point rider. Not everyone can make it to be a top Champ rider.

New equipment, could be his year

Didn't realise Lambo had pneumonia, he's a great guy at interviews always look forward to them on BSN honest and straight to the point

I was just going purely by Aussie results. Declan Killeen is a 3.00er in the NL but he flies is Australia. Could be a big rider in the NL next season... if there's more than 5 home meetings anyway.

I'm sure that's been said every year since covid too hasn't it?
