TracksideView
So we've seen the likes of Connor Bailey and other youngsters drop out the sport due to mental health yet we seem to think its acceptable to continue to hound young Vinnie Foord. Away and give your head a wobble and get a grip, and ironically all done by hiding away behind a faceless profile, absolutely pathetic.

Foord’s erratic racing style is fantastic for the sport; it’s a talking point. His attitude after the crashes at Poole, while questionable, was entertaining. People love to hate characters like Foord and it’s an essential aspect of competitive sport. The poster who created this topic evidently did so, tongue-in-cheek. For you to then raise the subject of mental health is utterly mind-numbing. Give yourself a shake.

I wouldn’t be surprised if his conduct during the Oxford meeting at Wimborne Road played a part in Poole allowing him to join Workington. Don’t get me wrong, it was great for the BSN cameras, but I wonder what the likes of Richard Lawson - a model professional - was thinking when his eighteen year-old apprentice team mate and his mechanic (the tattoo chav) were gesturing towards the Oxford fans. I think his mechanic is his father.

Actually, I'll put my hand up and agree it was an over-reaction , not baseless however, but still an overreaction. The mental health comment wasn't a woke based remark, speedway as a sport has to look at the pressures its putting on its youngsters. I get the post is meant as tongue in cheek, in comparison to what was said in a previous 12 page topic it's lighthearted but when there's already been 12 pages pretty much tearing a 17 year old apart not to mention the pages and pages on other social media sources, do we still have to keep using a 17 yr old for topics of interest? Anyway To the OP, sorry for the over-reaction, heart was engaged before the head.
