Bojangles
Thoughts on the Oxford Cheetahs team for 2025? They may have reached the Playoff and KO Cup finals, but feels like there could be a few changes for next season. Ashton Boughen has left the Spires, and lots of rumours of him going to Glasgow. Will Scott Nicholls carry on? Is Cameron Heeps past his best (he's had a great season, but little chance of him improving his average)? Luke Killeen has already signed, and Sam Masters and Jordan Jenkins are pretty much nailed on to stay I would have thought. Dan Gilkes seems like another potential candidate seeing as he seems to like it at Oxford. Edited October 18 by Bojangles
Fozzie4388
Jody Scott will be number 7 no doubt
Bojangles
Yeah, Jody Scott seems like a logical choice at reserve. Edited October 18 by Bojangles
BackInTheDHSS
Nicholls will surely be back. Peter Schroeck has already said Scott has a job for life at Oxford as long as he wants it, and I haven't heard any murmurings of a retirement on the horizon. Yes he crashed last night (and hope he's okay), but he's otherwise still thoroughly enjoying it as far as I know. SandyLaner
By all accounts, Masters is leaving and heading up north. The strong rumours over the last few weeks have been Glasgow bound, certainly north. Likewise, it seems like Heeps may well be off given his lap of honour last night very much seemed like a farewell. JJ I'd imagine will stay, and Killeen is now a permanent fixture at Oxford which I'm delighted about. I genuinely feel he's got a higher ceiling than Boughen. 1 2

How many riders are Glasgow signing for 2025? It seems that Uncle Tom Cobley and all are rumoured to be signing for them!! They can only (initially) sign 7 (always presuming it's 7 man teams, of course!!). 1

It’s 7 man teams for everyone else……..14 for Glasgow…….they found another loophole in the rule book……lol

I very much doubt Sam Masters would ever be at Glasgow, more likely to be at Edinburgh

Nicholls just posted on Instagram and ended with "Really enjoyed this season so now it’s time to recover and get ready for 2025👍🏻" I'd assume he'll be back at Oxford and just doing his TV work again.
hagonshocker
Unless I read it wrong but think Cheetahs just announced Boughen for 2025? But obviously not for Spires.

If and its a big if he is heading North Edinburgh is a more realistic destination, There would be no way we could fit him in beside Bomber on the suggested 38 limit. Monarchs would like him,but with his Polish commitments can’t see it happening it’s the main reason Him and Pickering have left.IMO
Biffa
Being a bit presumptuous here but have Oxford 4 riders sort of named but not confirmed? I’m thinking Boughen & Killeen confirmed & Scott Nicholls, Jody Scott presumed to be in team but not confirmed. Don’t know any averages but is Luke & Jody expected to be reserves? Just asking. Thanks in Advance
Technik
I think Heeps will move on. I don't think Jody Scott is quite ready to start at this level, He has shown some talent since coming in as a replacment for Atkins but another season at NDL with guest rides in the CL will be better for his progress IMO. There is a young Aussie currently riding in Poland Michael West that I feel will be a steal for the CL & maybe the new Czech sensation Adam Bednar I understand he is linked with the Dryml family so with their links with Oxford might steer him in that direction.
