So did Gilkes but maybe cancelled out being a final

I've read the rule. All that is required is that the guest doesn't ride for a team that hasn't been eliminated (so doesn't ride for finalists opponents - duh)

And hasn't guested for someone else in the semis/final.

So Jye Etheridge is ruled out because he rode for Redcar in the semis but King and Gilkes are not.

Are they not 'cup tied' having ridden for Redcar in semi final

They weren't guesting for Redcar nor any one else in the KO Cup as far as I know. Wright would be the obvious choice with his Oxford connection.

I hope they use a guest rather than r/r, which would mean an absolute trouncing. Using r/r is pretty disrespectful and waives a big white flag.

But saves them shed loads of money.

I know what I'd do

‘Waives a big white flag’ means exactly the opposite of what you were trying to say! 😛

Waving a white flag means surrender, given up, defeated. That’s what r/r signifies.  A team should never give up. Go down fighting.

I know, but that’s not what you said. ‘Waiving’ means to refrain from using! The ‘i’ completely changed the context of what you were trying to say. English is important.

Nah, we're not bothered. Run it at Kings Lynn

We're not bothered either... we've left the lower league behind now and progressed to race with the big boys 🦾

This might be a silly question but do guest's get more ?

Or do they earn the same per point as the rider they replace must say never thought about it before your post.
