Tonight's first leg rescheduled to next Wednesday 23rd due to overnight rain and more forecast today.

Is it about time a referee or even morris made these call promoters have to much interest at stake ,smacks of poole want the second leg .

Well it’s Wednesday .. the sun is shining in Herne Bay and it’s unseasonably warm.

Pool is obviously wet. Surprised that a delay of one week has been allowed by the SCB? Pool must think next Wednesday will be dry .. always a gamble in early winter.
Seems Middlo and his mates can only  get to Wimborne Road on Wednesdays!

Do they ever race on any other day but Wednesday ?

The occasional Friday and Sunday but the forecast for Friday is just as bad, and Brennan missing on Sunday so what better gesture than giving Killeen the chance to take his place next Wednesday

Not in this case.

I work nights, and it rained all night. On my drive home, there was lots of deep standing water. It's only just stopped now but the forecast for late afternoon & evening is for more solid rain.

There was no way this was ever going ahead today.

stand by for Peter Shocker to call off tomorrows meeting at Oxford , just cos he can . enter the double edged sword  .BSPA are set to make Poole run on Sunday .

With rain from last night and heavy rain forecast this evening, tonight's meeting was not going to take place. Why do people question Poole's decision to postpone the meeting? I don't think Shroek will call off tomorrow unless the weather intervenes, as next week Killeen should be fit.

N.I.D. it was going to be off . the same as Oxford will be off tomorrow and luke will be able to fit back in again . hope it will not be too cold for the older Poole supporters ..

I've no idea what influences that would bring tbh.

All I know is, that if this scenario was back in the pre Internet & tv coverage day's when I regularly attended matches, I'd be pretty certain at this point that I wouldn't be going to Speedway tonight.

There is precedent for Oxford to be entitled to delay tomorrows meeting to allow them the second leg and thus present the KO Cup to the Cheetahs in front of the home supporters.

The precedent of Poole doing it in every single final they reach?

What like when we raced Leicester at kings Lynn in the 2nd leg, like when we raced Glasgow in the BSN final
