Like another Legendary Ace from 50 years ago who went to the top - Peter Collins !! correct anyone can see Dan is not money motivated he appreciates what B/vue have done for him and it shows in his praise for the fans

Even Dan himself said that him and Brady have got a good thing going as the Red Attack at Belle Vue in his EUROSPORT interview after winning the Premiership. Tobiasz Musielak as Oxford's No.1 imo if Sheffield keep the power HL trio as rumoured.

Honestly can't remember anyone thinking he'd be anywhere but Belle Vue till just this week? The rumors in 2022 were Oxford were coming up and Dan was going there, obviously it didn't happen but it was a rumor. The rumor resurfaced last year, again it didn't happen. Its now back again this year and we will wait an see on that one. Remember just because something doesn't happen, doesn't mean there wasn't some truth to the rumor. I would never say never in sport, but when weighing up the positives an the negatives, I don't see any reason for Dan to leave Belle Vue. Oh and please lets not use where his Girlfriends lives, he is a young professional sportsman at the top of his profession, he's not making any decision based on that (or he shouldn't be).

Dan might even move close to his best mate Brady who has now bought a house in Warrington they will be team mates at Wroclaw next season travel to GP'S together and be team mates at B/vue now that sounds more sensible 😉 renting a house*

ouch
Belle Vue were very ineffective from reserve last season so it’s not always crucial to find a strong No6. If that position had scored no points we’d have still qualified and even won the final. The only hypothetical bugbear is the semi which we would have lost. Having said that would a No6 score zero all year? Even our most ineffective reserve (not counting Jake) averaged 3 per meeting. Aside from heat 2, poor reserves don’t see you drop back in the progressive scores and you can leave it to your big hitters to soak up the damage in later heats. These days we don’t seem to get the super reserve of seasons past that would take seven rides and score a shed load of points so the old adage that reserves win meetings doesn’t hold true the same, in my opinion.

I think it is because only Kelvin knows that a reserve can take seven rides... When Cairns comes available it will be interesting to see where he rides... A touch of a "Dan Bewley" around him, so maybe he could be that "super reserve"?..

Agree, but in the Playoffs the reserves delivered big time.

It’s how we like it and it does create a fabulous working atmosphere within the club, the best out there. Jake will be as good as he can be in 2025, with our continued backing.

We’re not completely averse to changes but it’s very rare, four in the last six years. Some clubs do four or more in a season. 🤣 Edited Sunday at 04:22 PM by ouch

Cairns signed a 2 year contract for colts so he is definitely riding next season for colts and it's well roumered he is riding for Poole in the championship from June when he is 16 as for premiership we will have to wait because someone will lose there place for him ??
