Vinnie Foord - is he too dangerous?

Maybe as strange as you saying you need to be or have been a rider to see if a rider is 'dangerous'?

It's not strange, and I didn't say that anyway. However, some non-riders (most Poole fans, it seems) don't recognise the danger, and just enjoy the 'entertainment'. It's not rocket science.

OK so if you don't accept Middlo's or Poole riders' views about what is dangerous then how about Dan Bewley's?

I've already answered that question. And a lot of people seem fixated on just the two crashes at Poole... what about all the other wrecked air fences from other meetings?

I’ve seen Jason Garrard crash in every meeting I’ve seen either live or Tv ,does that make him dangerous,of course not.Need to get over all this nonsense about Vinnie .IMO

If you can't tell the difference between Jason Garrad riding around and falling off on his own, and Vinnie Foord riding around and dangerously taking off an opposing rider(s) because he doesn't have the skill to control his speed - then I'm not sure your opinion is worth listening to. Sorry.

This really is a vile thread. The lad is learning and is no doubt going to be a very good rider. The OP should be ashamed of himself for starting such an awful thread.

I find your lack of concern for rider welfare vile. Do they just exist to entertain you? I find that attitude abhorrent.

Papers are renowned for telling the truth, probably a planted story to try and get people through the door for tomorrow night’s meeting.

If true which I doubt I would be disgusted an Oxford fan.

When you consider which "journalist" wrote it would you expect anything less than half a story?

There's no mention of the Foords making shooting gestures to the crowd etc as seen on tv. The same person copies and pastes most pieces he writes and passes off others work as his own by changing a few words.

Wow so are speedway riders not expected to entertain? Is the sport not meant to be entertaining, just 'safe'? What next? Stabilisers on bikes?!

One of the most ignorant responses I've ever read. There's a bit difference between entertaining, and existing just to entertain. You understand the difference, right?
