Just been caught up on the shooting of young Jay Cartmell who died after being shot in a field in Cumbria ten days ago. Very sad story of an apparently shocking accident. He is reported to be an ardent supporter of Workington and was a regular at the track on race nights along with his Dad. Absolutely shocking for the whole community. All my thoughts are with Jay's Mum & Dad and all his family and friends. They must be devastated at losing him at only eight years old.
