But, Kildemand was/is the best rider I've seen around Perry Barr....although, the track was a lot better when he was over here... I like him and can't wait to see him visit with Oxford! Brummies_Ste
BIRMINGHAM have added Jonas Jeppesen to their side as he becomes the fifth rider named for next season. The Dane, who had brief spells with Somerset and Ipswich in 2018, joins Tobiasz Musielak, Matej Zagar, Keynan Rew and Jason Edwards as confirmed starters. The 26-year-old comes highly recommended and Brummies’ Director of Speedway Laurence Rogers, who made initial contact, also feels Jeppesen is now a much-improved all-round rider. Rogers said: “I had a message from Tom P Madsen who rode for me at King’s Lynn and Mildenhall and he is a good friend. “He is now a team manager in Denmark and was recommending Jonas as a rider who wanted to come to England and one who has shown good form in several leagues outscoring several top riders. “I also contacted Erik Gundersen for his thoughts and he said he was a good lad who he knew well and it was great that he wanted to come over. “After looking at Jonas’ stats in 2024, we started discussions and it didn’t take long to agree a contract - he is really looking forward to being at Birmingham in 2025.”

When Lynn announced Harris at reserve, you didn't get many complaints that he was "past his best". It's the same for Zagar at Birmingham, I know he's past his best, but if he can keep his starting average, then he's done his job.

I wouldn't have fancied him on a 7 ave myself.

They were erring on what to do for 2025 so was told a definite signing. On 11/26/2024 at 12:45 PM, Petecc said: So when are going to break this news to us mortals? Now confirmed...Jeppesen (who to be fair Saddlebow had spot on) I have a hunch he'll double up with a CL Club too and thy may have been waiting for Brummies to announce. Might not have to wait 2 weeks for confirmation on that one though! Edited Saturday at 10:04 AM by HGould spell

GiveusaB
Is he any good? Also, it's a Rogers signing so I'm sceptical? I thought Adams was the manager?
