It seems British promoters have little interest in keeping their fans informed when rumours appear, I read about Schlein's retirement on here before Berwick announced it, same with Boughen leaving Oxford, same with Edwards being announced at Redcar in the Speedway Star but not by Redcar. Looking forward to reading JJ's answer to this, only when I asked the same question on B'hams forum page, he said that it was a ridiculous/stupid question and didn't deserve an answer? As for Adam Ellis a couple of years ago, his was an emergency signing as the Brummies had been unable to find a number 1 as they had been accepted into the Championship very late; Ellis was signed as a temporary rider at the press and practice day. We found out in May that Ellis was leaving. Not that it matters anymore.
