I'd say Vuolas would be a good signing if they had 4.5 remaining, not so great when they had over 6.

However, it was expected they would be building under the limit, so that's tempers any disappointment.

I think Sedgmen is better now & would've picked him, but Vuolas is the better prospect for the future, so can understand the signing. Although that doesn't mean if he improves Birmingham will benefit in the future as he could move on (like Brennan).

I would say given the points available it is a disappointing signing but I imagine the last signing for Oxford will be disappointing too.

It’s not a bad side. I do worry that it will be incredibly inconsistent and I have question marks over Zagar and MJJ’s commitment

But it’s considerably a better effort than 2024. Oxford are nailed on for the wooden spoon.

There's an Polish article doing the rounds on socials that the Grudziadz manager thinks MJJ's only signed until May over here.

Gigantyczna sensacja w PGE Ekstralidze. GKM Grudziądz zajął stanowisko - Przegląd Sportowy Onet

Can a contract in England worry fans in Grudziądz? - I think not - Robert Kościecha, GKM coach, tells us. – As far as I know, the contract is signed only until the Swedish league starts in May. Then he will focus on the games in our country, in Sweden and his native Denmark - he adds.

....But for Brum, the future will not extend beyond September?

Once Tom was poached during last season it really put them on the back foot, making things very difficult. Whether this will be fully to blame for their potential demise is a debatable point. I’d rather compete against a stable and competitive Birmingham side but that’s just me looking at the bigger picture rather than the sadly adopted win at all cost approach.

1) I guess Birmingham are hoping they will have a longer future.

2) Birmingham management may disagree with me & feel Vuolas will be stronger than Sedgmen in 2025.

With so many returning / new riders to GB, I'd have wanted someone more experienced over here at reserve (Sedgmen).

I think Birmingham have put a very interesting and cosmopolitan team together and they might just surprise a few people. Hopefully, they can retain all seven riders throughout the full season and they certainly look a much more exciting bunch than last season.

Will all the problems Birmingham have recently encountered  (finances, crowds, lack of top riders etc), I'd just like to congratulate the management on the team they have ultimately assembled. Good luck and I hope your season is a success!

I agree with what u said about Zagar and MJJ...Could have done with a better rider to back T.M up ..but better than 2024..

It happened with Ellis a couple of seasons ago.

Bham management need to quash these rumours unless they're true ???

Well he's only allowed to ride in 2 other leagues besides Poland and he's signed up in Sweden and Denmark already.
