ouch
1 hour ago, TTT said: The only negative side to signing MJJ is that Brum will have to keep one eye on Grudziadz's performances this year. The Polish club are known to kick up a fuss when results turn sour in the Ekstraliga or if one of their riders has a big fall on a track that's not Polish. Jakobsen, Pedersen and Tarasenko are recent examples of that as well as Doyle being treated badly by the Grudziadz management after a season ending crash at KL. Good signing, I’m looking forward to seeing him on our shores again. Don’t group us in with the other two as we don’t “snap up the best riders” at all. The current team with the averages we initially signed them on are…… Brady Kurtz 7.50 Norick Blodorn 4.00 Jaimon Lidsey 4.00 Zack Cook 5.57 Dan Bewley 3.00 Tate Zischke 4.57 Jake Mulford Some of the other “best riders” we’ve snapped up in recent years include Tom Brennan (last RS pick), Max Fricke 4.84 & Ben Cook 6.00. Surely 10 years on will see it reassessed, won't it?

TTT
If the rules are the same as last year then MJJ will be a 7.00-7.50 because he rode in the Ekstraliga in 2024. If Brum are saying third HL then I guess Zagar must be a 7.00-7.50 as well.

Zagar has an existing average of 7.20 anyway so don't see why the need for re-assessment, other riders have come back like Tai did on his previous average, I don't think it will be re-assessed. Manifesto
Fair play to the brum management they have put a solid looking team together when heat leaders were hard to come by. MJJ had a solid season in the polish league 2024 averaging more than Bewley, Fricke, Lindgren. don’t think he’ll be a slouch in the prem by any means

Falcon1983
Think he'll come in on a reassessed 7.5 similar to the guys signed last season Be interesting to see who the final rider is, could be in the mix for top 6

Of course not everyone takes to the GB tracks like the do the Polish ones, but as he's ridden here before, should do well. If I was a Brummies fan I'd be relieved that they now have a chance to avoid the wooden spoon.
Col
Great signing, had seemed to be on wain but after replacing the injured Doyle for Grudziądz in the Ekstraliga last year he was solid for them.

Just hope they get enough time to get the track right this season....the riders need a decent surface to perform on.....way too slick and inconsistent at times last year.....hope the Club are given more time to prepare it before each meeting as I know their hands were tied by the stadium owners etc.....
